★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a wonderful time on my Mount Etna tour with Vito our guide. He was excellent (so personable). He narrated the history / science of the volcano very well. On the way up to the volcanos he told us stories and pointed out places of interest from the very start of the ride.He was very kind and patient during the hike. They gave us complimentary tea/coffee at the chalet. Lunch was delicious for an excellent price (10 euros bruschetta - pasta -drink). He also provided hiking gear (boots, sticks,helmet). He was very kind and offered his spare gloves when he realised my fingers were freezing.
Thank you, Vito for making it a memorable experience.
10/10 would definitely recommend.

Vito, our tour guide, was brilliant and had a great sense of humour! He was very knowledgable and explained to us the history of Etna, its geography and the nature that grows upon it. He provided us with spare jumpers and had other items in his boot that you could borrow.
The wine tasting and lunch at Gambino winery was delectable, the owners were friendly and attentive. We bought a bottle of white wine and gin that they make from the juniper berries berries that grow on Etna. It was the perfect way to end the excursion!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vittorio is a very well informed and friendly guide and a great way to introduce yourself to Etna and it’s environs, including wineries, gorges, and beautiful wind-swept medieval hill towns. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Four of us traveling together have a great day with Vito, scaling about halfway up Mount Etna. He was informative, professional, and made sure that we were well prepared for our adventure.Based on the experience, we also booked a winetasting tour with him. That was also terrific. Just as a note here, we usually don’t take guided tours but prefer to explore by ourselves. But this was actually better than a do it yourself experience, especially the trip to Mount Etna.
