★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my 2nd time to use the services of SicilyLife for our ground transportation and tours, taking us on day trips and transfers between cities. I am so grateful to Anna for handling every detail in our schedule for 6 of us traveling around Sicily. And to Carmelo, our fabulous driver whose understanding of Sicily and explanations were so appreciated. He was a joy to be with - picking us up - always on time - making each transfer as special with his humor and his knowledge along the way. 4 of our group had never been to Sicily before (lots of questions - he patiently answered every one!) and 2 of us had been 5 years ago. SicilyLife made it so easy as I planned the trip. I'm not a tour guide, but I love to plan my travel for myself and have family & friends come along. Anna's suggestions and assistance were exactly what we wanted to experience and the price fit everyone's budget. Very reasonable for all we did. The stops at Zaffarena Etnea, Mt. Etna and the Gambino Winery on the way from Taormina to Siracusa was such a treat!!! Gambino has by far the most fabulous tasting lunch! Best I've ever had. The small towns and special efforts that Carmelo added to our trip were amazing - he really went above & beyond what we expected. Thank you again Carmelo!! I've traveled to Italy 6 times in 5 years and SicilyLife has been the best tour company for seeing the real Sicily. I can't wait to go back. And I will in fall 2019. Thanks again - You have a great team, Sebastiano..10 stars!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were so pleased with our tour of the Etna area with Sicily Life and our driver/guide Luca. As budget travelers, this was a big splurge for two of us to book a private tour but it was well worth the expense (which, had there been even two more of us, would not have been much more than the group tours).
Our all day Etna tour covered a lot - a walk on Etna, visit to the Gorges, stopping at a few Godfather filming sites, tastings at the honey store and lunch at the winery. One of the highlights though was just hearing Luca tell us about the area from a local point of view and having him answer all the questions we threw at him.
Anna and the others at Sicily Life were very responsive to our questions before the tour and worked to get us booked even with our last minute schedule. Don't wait until the last minute to book your tour though because you won't want to miss out on this great experience.

I just wanted to drop you an email of thanks as we have now returned off our Med Cruise after having a lovely family holiday. The highlight of the holiday was our tour in Sicily, it was fabulous!
My family and I wanted to let you know that our guide Roberto could not have been better, he was so professional and knowledgeable and so much fun, we had a great tour, made even more special by his marvellous company.
I hope Roberto enjoyed our company too and that we were not too much for him! My parents in particular wanted me to pass on their very best to him and their thanks for him taking care of them.
What a great company it is and when we return to Sicily, rest assured we will be booking again, to see more of your beautiful country.
Please pass on our best to Roberto and wish him well from the Francis family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went on the Mt. Etna tour with Antonio as our guide and honestly it was one of the best guides we've ever had! He had so much knowledge of the area - both on a professional and personal level which meant that he could talk about the history of Mt. Etna but also tell us stories about his upbringing that relates to Sicily. A great part of the tour was the wine tasting that was accompanied with delicious local food and desert. And it was included! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sicily.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This day was the highlight of my entire trip! We were on a 10 day cruise and stopped here and spent the day with Roberto and he is THE BEST!!! We did Godfather tour, Taormina, then Gambino winery which was amazing. My brother's family had 2 kids so they did the Mt Etna tour and we all met for lunch and wine tasting at Gambino.If you have one day in Sicily, I highly suggest you choose this company and request Roberto if you can!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our first inquiry regarding The Unknown Sicilian Villages and Godfather Tour was answered promptly by Sebastiano. An itinerary with a fair quote was described in detail which was a perfect match for our wishes and needs. We had one guest with mobility issues and these were discussed and addressed in advance. The day of the tour our guide, Luca, met us as expected and on time.
Luca's expert driving on and around the winding, narrow roads of our itinerary was entertaining and informative. He provided extensive information about his island and Italian history. Professional, pleasant and asking about our comfort and needs. The walk through Savoca (GodfatherLand) was beautiful, mesmerizing and peaceful. The locals all seemed to know him and offered samples of their pastries and products.
He provided facts and information relative to the filming of The Godfather and sequels that enlightened us. Forza D'Agro showed us what life in a typical Messina village is like today. Set high upon a hilltop, this Midieval Village has spectacular views of the countryside. Then a short walk thru the Midieval Village of Castlemola, with shops and cafes, was most enjoyable. Lunch in beautiful Taormina, with delicious, authentic Italian foods capped off an outstanding and memorable tour with our expert guide, Luca.

He is an awesome driver and extremely knowledgeable about every location we visited- Savoca, Forza D'Agro, Castelmola, Taormina, Isola Bella lookout and even the astronomical clock in Messina. We can't wait to return and visit more of Sicily with Luca and Sicily Life Tours.
