★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visit a lot off cemeteries all over the world. But this one is the most beautiful one I ever seen. The statues are so lifelike that it feels they are alive. Most off them with a lot off grief. I had a short time so I will go back someday. I can send a whole day overhere

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ one of those special places to discover the past. Takes a lot of time. I have not found any map to find the best tombstones - fine sculpture artworks worth to spend a day searching all the place. Reminds us of where we all soon will be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing sculptures! The best I've ever seen yet (thanks ViasatHistory short series :) Some statues do look like they are alive (marble eye lashes, why not?). Indeed, some pieces could've been kept in better condition, yet it's an old and still functional cemetery with all burials and repairs going on. Free parking near the place. We've entered for free, though some say there's admittance fee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spectacular! One of the most incredible cemeteries/ "art museums of sculptures" that you will ever see. If you love history and amazing sculptures, then put this place on your "to go visit" list. I could not believe how beautiful and intricately perfect the statues are. So incredibly made that you would swear they come to life after hours. This place is enormous so make sure you leave at least a half a day in your schedule to see it, maybe even longer. It's unfathomable that the statues are not just decoration, but also tombs and there are so many of them! Fantastic photo opportunities are everywhere in this place. I did not take the guided tour but it's on my list to do in the future. I've heard good things about it. The cemetery is free to enter. For the guided tour, you have to pay a small fee. Do not miss this!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the most interesting place in Genoa. The sculptures you will see in the pavilions will beat a sculpture collection of any museum, and then then you can go up the hill with very impressive tombs.
