Nella parte piu alta ecco apparire un fab bricato severo: una porta chiusa- una aperta la chiesetta del convento delle clarisse. Una oasi di preghiera, di pace ,di sereni ta: comincio a pensare,dopo una vita di lavoro,di avere sbagliato tutto. Il lavoro,il denaro,il successo forse sareb be stato meglio ..... A ciascuno il suo. C	Claudio Dambra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un bellissimo luogo, situato in una zona molto bella di cortona, le suore sono disponibilissime e definirle dei raggi di sole e dire poco, starebbero ore a parlare e poi ti offrono sempre qualcosa da bere per metterti a tuo agio, se si vuole avere un esperienza culturale e religiosa molto bella e un luogo che consiglio veramente a tutti grandi e piccini?? Le consorelle stanno dietro l'altare dove il legno fa da padrone. Oltre ad essere un luogo ideale per la meditazione e staccare dal mondo frenetico, e' un luogo adatto all'ascolto. La madre superiore, Suor Benedetta, originaria di Firenze e' come una mamma per le consorelle ma anche per chiuque desideri trascorrere del tempo presso di loro. Normalmente il pellegrino dorme presso il Monastero e mangia in paese o dove desidera. Vicino al Monastero, oltre la Chiesa che ospita le vesta di S. Margherita, ci sono "Le Celle" di Cortona (a 5 km dal centro stotico di Cortona) dove S. Francesco trascorse parecchio del suo tempo. Per raggiungere l’Eremo "Le Celle" bisogna salire a quota 550 metri d’altitudine, ai piedi del Monte Sant'Egidio e tra il verde della Valdichiana. Wonderful place in the heart of Cortona.
