★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Premetto, io non sono un credente, ho visitato questo posto perché ha una grande storia alle spalle. La chiesa è veramente un'opera d'arte sia a livello costruttivo che a livello di decori e opere custodite al suo interno.... Merita assolutamente una visita se passate da queste parti.
I state, I am not a believer, I visited this place because it has a great history behind it. The church is truly a work of art both in terms of construction and in terms of decorations and works kept inside .... It is absolutely worth a visit if you pass by these parts.

I dipinti contemporanei all'interno sono molto belli e rendono la chiesa più interessante.
Simple but beautiful church, it partially respects the minimalism and poor lifestyle chosen by St. Francis.
The contemporary paintings inside are very beautiful and make the church more interesting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a fantastic church situated in the heart of Cortona and holds relics related to Saint Francis of Assisi in its on-display collection. Visiting in March 2016 we found this church to be an un-crowded gem that was a little off the well worn tourist trails. Well worth a visit when in Cortona.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This church is stunning! We walked up through town, and stopped at some smaller churches along the way. Very charming neighborhoods with beautiful views. My 76 year old mother made the climb, slowly, and did fine. Bring water. There are multiple places along the way to sit and rest. Well worth the effort ;)
