★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped by Moma for my first lunch in Rome and what a unique start of my eating journey it was. The place is very elegant and the wait staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered the cuttlefish pasta and risotto with eel. The cuttlefish pasta was like nothing I had tried before- the sauce was good and unique but the texture was a bit chewy in a way that I can’t say I was running back to. Meanwhile the risotto felt decadent- super creamy with crispy small pieces of eel. It felt like a small portion when I looked at it but realized quickly it was perfect for how rich it was. This was a unique meal and a great and affordable way to taste a Michelin rated restaurant.

We had the full tasting menu, which we subbed out the short rib for the octopus. The dishes were delicious, particularly the octopus which was crisp and charred, with a lovely soft inside. The flavours were really interesting, especially the parmesan ice cream, the eel risotto and the lemon and celery sorbet. We weren't that impressed with the pasta course of tagliatelle with cuttlefish, which we thought was actually quite bland and overcooked.
Service was excellent, with a large selection of Italian wines. They're knowledgeable and recommended a nice white that went well with the fish courses.
We thought the price was reasonable for a Michelin star restaurant, at around 280 euro for 2 tasting menus with 2 bottles of wine, water and bread selections.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good but I left with mixed feelings - a bit disappointing for the price with a Tasting menu for 110€ pp. With 2 glasses of wine and water we ended.up with a total.of 270€. The highlights: Cuttle fish tagliatelle and the risotto. While the tagliatelle had a rich tomato flavor and the risotto had a complex tri-fold flavor nicely completing sweet, acidic and umami. The Lemon, yoghurt and Apple Sorbet was excellent! The grilled octopus was well grilled but a bit dry/over-chewy. The chocolate ice cream was great too, but the homemade caramel sauce was a bit overwhelming. The finger food cracker based starters were okay. The bread was a bit dry, probably from the early morning (we ate at 9pm). The 'herb' garden was okay - pickled vegetables and crisp-like dried veggies raised no eye brows. Overall decent but I wouldn't go again.

Once you walk in the restaurant they treat you like their family very worm also very professional way.
They food is very delicious also good portion, their wine selection is very good too. I wish I can taste them all!
You need come here to try their food otherwise is not complete Rome trip ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the tasting menu, some dishes were really good, the octopus was definitely my favorite one and some weren’t my taste. The service was impeccable and the bottle of wine that was recommended to us was fantastic. Overall a really good experience.

The coursed out menu with the wine pairings is worth every penny, if not more. Such an amazing experience! If you can get in you definitely should go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely incredible tasting menu! The dishes were all extremely well balanced in terms of texture, flavor, and presentation! My favorite thing was the “garden” - it was so fresh and different. The octopus with root vegetables was also incredible.
