Zoomando intorno all'acqua abbiamo beccato un viperotto assopito dalla CO2!!! Fare molta attenzione !!! Characteristic natural manifestation. Peccato solo per l'abbandono e l'incuria in cui versa l'accesso al posto. Non fate cavolate e non superate le transenne, l'anidride carbonica no si vede e non si sente. Percorso segnalato ed accessibile con molte spiegazioni anche per quanto riguarda il cambiamento climatico e gli studi sulla CO2. Io l’ho inserita all’interno di un percorso di 18 km che comprendeva anche le cascate del torrente Fosce e i ruderi dei mulini a vento situati sulla collina dietro Orciatico. Purtroppo, incuria e vegetazione stanno inghiottendo i sentieri... Lì vicino c’è anche il Teatro del Silenzio. La mofeta è interessante, un forte odore impregna l'aria e molti cartelli avvisano che la concertazione di gas può essere tossica consigliando di non superare le barriere che però sono distrutte e, in un certo senso per fortuna, altrimenti avremmo solo sentito l'odore, ma non si sarebbe visto nulla.
