β β β β β Our family traveled to Venice and we booked Michele as our photographer for a morning session. The photographs are amazing. Michele is the best of the best--he even trains the other photographers. The session was the perfect finale to our trip.
Michele brought out the best in us and the best of the city. Early in the morning, we had St. Mark's Square to ourselves. We also brought a rambunctious three year old son and a ten-month old daughter. Michele's philosophy was to photograph our children as they interacted naturally with us. Our son was free to run around (chasing the pigeons) and jump and laugh. And the photographs were stunning.
Michele knew every scenic, quiet spot. He knew how to make all of us comfortable. In fact, we enjoyed his company so much that we invited him to brunch afterwards. It was a memorable day that was captured in memorable photographs.
Michele is the consummate professional. He speaks four languages; he's incredibly patient and accommodating; and he's your guide to embedding your trip with color. If you're thinking about a photographer to capture your trip to Venice, please book Michele.

β β β β β Michele took our honeymoon photos in Venice. He was a fantastic photographer and a lovely person. He made us feel comfortable, chose great backdrops, and gave us a tour of the city and it's history in-between photos! I highly recommend Michele.

β β β β β Michele was the ultimate professional, he was amazing to work with and gave us lots of good directions for photos while making us feel at ease. He was quick in communications and was very flexible to accommodate our schedule on short notice. He knew exactly which locations to shoot at what time in Venice for the best lighting and to avoid the crowds. We got the photos within a few days (other photographers would need a week or more) and we were blown away by the quality, artistic shots and perfect lighting. Best decisions we made was to choose Michele for our photos.

β β β β β Michele was absolutely the perfect photographer for our wedding day and reception photos! He was easy to speak with (in English) from abroad and was knowledgeable and adaptable to our vision in Venice. On the day of the shoot not only did he capture beautiful photos with ease, but he was fun, professional and a delight to be around. Our pictures turned out beyond wonderfully, and we had quick and hassle-free turnaround. He has a particular eye for lighting and directing poses. We would absolutely recommend Michele to anyone looking for a photographer in Venice and beyond!

β β β β β Michele is an amazingly talented photographer and really awesome to work with. My fiancΓ© booked him to take photos of us throughout Venice as a surprise proposal/engagement shoot. He really cares about his work and is willing to share his knowledge about how he sets up the photo and what makes it have good composition. Also as someone who is not used to having photos taken of myself, he made me feel comfortable and natural during the shoot. We received our photos extremely fast. I highly recommend Michele for any kind of photographer needs!

β β β β β Michele was not only professional but so fun to work with. He knows exactly where to go to get the best shots, even in the not so best of circumstances. The morning we were to meet it was pouring down rain, and while he did offer us the choice to meet at another time, he used the rain to make the best of the photos and capture the beauty of Venice for us with a a little different perspective than others have. We loved his flexibility and creativity and his knowledge of the city since he is from Venice is just an exceptional bonus! It was just the absolute perfect souvenir to have from our Italian vacation, and if you are considering hiring a photographer, I wouldn't consider anyone else.

β β β β β It's now been three weeks since our wedding day, but we are still bursting with joy at such a great experience - and Michele was a huge part of that.
We are based in England, but decided to have our wedding in Venice at quite short notice. I researched photographers and when I came across Michele Agostinis Photography, I instantly fell in love with the personality in his pictures and his naturalistic, reportage style.
From booking Michele through to the day itself, he guided us along the way, always happy to answer my (thousands of) questions and we even chatted over the phone. We talked through the logistics of the wedding day and he made suggestions about the best locations for photographs based on our schedule. His knowledge of Venice was a huge asset and we had total trust in him. We felt that he really understood us.
On the morning of the wedding, Michele came to the hotel where my husband and I were getting ready. We even had our dog with us, who Michele got on really well with and made sure she was featured in our photographs. This meant a lot to us. He then stayed with us throughout the day, capturing the important stages (travelling to the ceremony, meeting with family, the ceremony itself, the reception), and has been able to document the story of our wedding day in pictures. It's fantastic!
My husband and I are actually quite camera-shy, but Michele instantly put us at ease. It was like hanging out with a good friend, and half the time we didn't even notice him taking the pictures, which was great! This meant he captured us in a natural, unstilted way and that's exactly what we wanted.
Not everything on the wedding day went to plan though...as there had been so much rain in Venice in the days leading up to the wedding, the water levels had risen so much so, that the entrance to Palazzo Cavalli (where our ceremony was taking place) was submerged! After waiting some time, the tide still hadn't gone down, so Michele suggested we cover our feet with bags and walk through the water. Best idea ever! And what fun it was too, wading through the water with my dress hitched up and bin bags for shoes! This is something we will never forget - it was the talk of our afternoon and we still laugh about it now!
Michele is such a good sport. He was pleasant and approachable throughout the day and all our guests really took to him. And they have talked about him fondly since!
Now we have received the wedding pictures back, we get to re-live it all again and I notice more and more each time I look at them. I can't thank Michele enough for his great work (and for being such a great guy!). He really did help to make our wedding day such a fantastic experience and we feel so lucky to have had him as our photographer. If I needed a photographer in Europe, I would book him again in a heartbeat.
