★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best seafood pasta dishes I have tasted in my life. My partner and I are Italians and can guarantee this place has a high quality Italian food. The service is amazing and the location is stunning. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a magical night! Get the Tette delle monache Dessert because is a cloud that melts in your mouth, filled with cream.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure what to say. I was having a walk in the old town and decided to go for a quick early dinner at the Mikasa. Perfect location, nice tables, stylish setup. So I went for it. I ordered an Aperol Spritz to start and that was very nice and refreshing. I then ordered a tuna tartar. The dish was nicely presented, but it was extremely salty and not tasting very fresh. I thought... let me go ahead and have a fried fish dish (frittura mista). That was ok, but I cannot remember in my life having a bad fried fish dish. I then decided also to close the dinner with a tiramisù, and that unfortunately was really not good and tasting a bit off.
So what to say... location very nice, staff very friendly, I also got a free limoncello at the end, but food... uhm... not too good unfortunately.
But I have to admit that in these times with the COVID-19 around, I was really happy to see the staff at the Mikasa wearing masks and giving an overall feeling that this thing is not over and that extraordinary care has to be taken.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've had a nice dinner here. Reasonably quick service (some of the younger staff still needs to be trained properly though) and the food has been on par with the nice surrounding views. Monopoli is one of the many pearls on the coast near Bari and this restaurant does not disappoint. Please try the burrata and capocollo antipasti and the gnocchetti first dish, you will thank me later ?
