Unfortunately our quick small lunch was over €50, with no prices listed on anything this came as a bit of a shock. Was great snack lunch, but not at that price. Assume its cheap for locals and they charge tourists extra, doesn't make me want to go back

You'll find great choice of fresh food, from meat to fish, from sweets to spices, fresh food and vegetables, and the most important - plenty of small street restaurants showing an amazing choice of ready traditional dishes in a kiosk just in front of the restaurant. I tried the one called Enoteca del Capo. I recommend this market to have a lunch and a big glass of pomegranate juice,made just for you at the moment. It's the real soul of the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Street Food and fish Market. You can try local Sicily's street food and also it's a fish market. Fresh orange juice there is unbeatable just for 1 euro per small glass.
Little unhygienic but it common in such type of places. Little rush and loud but you will enjoy the atmosphere. Take care of small kids because of small street and rush.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always say to know a city, the best way is to visit their markets. Mercato del Capo did not fail my expectation. You can meet friendly local people here, can also try freshest food here, what else you ask for?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This market is awesome! There are hundreds of food stalls with fruits, fish, meat, ready food and really anything food related you can think of. We always come here to shop as prices are great and the products are top quality. Also it’s situated in a very old and fascinating part of Palermo, worth to have a stroll around after visiting the Teatro Massimo ?
