Little bit away from most touristic places of Palermo inside a busy market. The place is a little walk from the Massimo theater. The fish were very fresh and tasted delicious. Try the caponata here one of the best you will taste in Sicily. The menu is small but enough for snacking or also if you want for lunch/dinner.

Hidden Gem! The best fried seafood we had in Sicily, compared to 10 others we had. It is so tasty. Not salty, full of flavour, and the cover is pretty thin. They had a thermometer to monitor the oil temperature, which is super professional. The staffs were very nice and helpful. Highly recommended!

Great casual place. Friendly staff. Good food. We sat for a late lunch (≈3 PM) and the friendly staff welcomed us. Pleasant location in the market, with good smell from the veggies/fruits nearby. The house wine was also pleasant. Definitely recommend it for some casual snack or lunch.

They offered a variety of seafood grilled or fried. The fried calamari and anchovies were especially nice. So was the octopus salad and caponata. Very friendly service too. Nice place to sit and people watch.

They do not have the price written anywhere and they also wouldn’t let you know until you get the bill and then voila! You will be shocked with how much your bill will be. I think it is overrated and overprice for a shop in the middle of a market. More like a price of a restaurant. Thus, the food is cold and just goodlooking but actually not so good. I wouldn’t advice tourists to come here because they will rift your money! 35 euros wow

This place is located within a busy market. All available dishes are displayed behind a glass window, ready cooked, you choose what you want, and it is brought to you after reheating. Food was nice, but nothing exceptional, and the quality was variable, with some dishes better than others: I had to ask for the sardine balls to be heated properly, as they had been brought out still cold the first time. Also, the fried seafood cone contained far too much tiny fish, too little calamari, and not a single prawn, although it was meant to. My biggest gripe, though, is that prices aren't displayed, which bothers me quite a bit: how do you know, when you get the bill, whether they're the real prices or 'tourist prices', as suggested by some previous users? All in all, it came to just under 50€ for several small dishes with two soft drinks, + cover charge (1,50€ per person). An ok place, definitely not the best, but would still recommend if you like seafood.

Coming here just as they opened resulted in an extremely fresh baked assortment of fish (without chips). It was a mix of grilled anchovies, chewy calamari, crunchy shrimp and one baked octopus. It was so much I couldn’t finish the portion and took the rest to go. As it is located on the Capo streetmarket, it is a loud and crowded area that attracts a variety of Italians and tourists, with the later just grabbing a quick bite or being students. Your senses will therefore be completely overwhelmed the entire visit, including with the strong smell of fish from the stall next door. The criticism about cash payment and the lack of prices is correct though, we payed €6 for the whole load of fish per person but were asked €12 for a similar thing elsewhere so it seemed like a decent price that Italian students were also willing to pay.
