★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It gives me no pleasure to write a negative review, as I know the restaurant business is challenging, but this was an appalling experience. Firstly, it took 20 minutes to be served despite the many serving staff. I ordered one of the daily specials, busiate pasta with prawns and Sicilian pistachio pesto, which I have to say was the worst dish I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant, and tasted overwhelmingly of vegetable stock, and bizarrely, curry powder, and not at all like a lovely, fresh Sicilian pesto. I was shocked when we came to pay that it was priced at 18 euros (the average price for other pasta dishes was 10 euro). The other food we ordered was forgettable, ill-executed and made with poor quality ingredients (the seafood was not fresh). I don’t understand why it has such positive reviews, I would prefer to cook at home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was amazing! Delicious dishes! Friendly staff noted that I missed a temporary 20% discount when booking and provided it to me at the restaurant anyway. Everything was great from the bread, to the peppered muscles and especially the main dishes. Only downfall was not leaving room for dessert.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were a table of 6 and really liked this place! They check the green pass at the door which makes me feel safe. They say our party even though some members were missing. Once everyone arrived we order bruschetta (yum) and €7 liters of wine! They had specials of the day which are the mussels pictured and the red fish. The red fish was smaller than expected and a I bit hard to eat but that was my fault for not researching it earlier. It was still very tasty! Everyone enjoyed their meal except for the pizza but that was also one of those things where the toppings just weren’t what they were expecting, nothing wrong with the pizza itself as it was exactly as described on the menu. The desserts are subject to availability so be flexible in your choice, the server listed out all the desserts rather than referring us to the back of the menu. Overall, a really great dinner, we spent over 3 hours there and never felt rushed. Would definitely go back again and don’t forget to make reservations!
