★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trovasi lontano dal centro abitato in campagna, la strade per arrivarci sono adatte per qualunque mezzo, il menhir prende il nome dal proprietario terriero, non ha segni evidenti sulla sua superficie di nessun genere, quello che si nota sono le fessurazioni della pietra alla base dovute al tempo e al peso alto circa 2 m una parte circa un terzo è a terra, presumibilmente può essere datato a l'età del bronzo, non è chiaro l'uso di queste pietre, delimitazione di confini? Segnalazione di aree particolari a carattere sacro? Non ci sono chiaramente documenti che attestino il loro uso, i menhir sono una caratteristica del territorio salentino sparsi un pó ovunque.
Located far from the inhabited center in the countryside, the roads to get there are suitable for any means, the menhir takes its name from the landowner, it has no obvious signs on its surface of any kind, what you notice are the cracks in the stone at the base. at the time and at about 2 m high weight about one third is on the ground, presumably it can be dated to the Bronze Age, it is not clear the use of these stones, delimitation of boundaries? Reporting of particular sacred areas? There are clearly no documents attesting to their use, the menhirs are a characteristic of the Salento area scattered almost everywhere.
