A tourist attraction of this kind at 2 pm, in the month of August, cannot be closed. My assessment is not for the structure, but for the way it is managed.

Sovrastato dal Castello Caracciolo, parzialmente ricostruito, il borgo circonda la roccia lambita, a valle, dai due torrenti: Pergola e Fiumicello. Not yet flowing, at a glance the medieval village of Brienza presents itself in all its beauty. Dominated by the partially reconstructed Caracciolo Castle, the village surrounds the rock lapped, downstream, by the two streams: Pergola and Fiumicello.

Attualmente in ristrutturazione è aperto al pubblico grazie ad un servizio gratuito offerto dal comune di Brienza. G	Gugli Lama on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il borgo di Brienza si presenta con un modello ad avvolgimento centripeto avente per fulcro naturale il Castello Caracciolo, posto alla sommità di un colle sui pendii del quale si avviluppano e si divincolano in una miriade di prospettive fasci concentrici di case, abbarbicati precariamente alla roccia scoscesa. Alla fine di via Mario Pagano, dove anticamente era situata una delle porte di accesso, si inerpicano sul poggio due stradine, quella di Santa Maria a sinistra e di San Michele dei Greci a destra. Sul versante opposto, ove si accede per la "Portella" ancora visibile nella cinta muraria del Castello, brandelli di muri su viottoli ormai quasi del tutto cancellati testimoniano l'esistenza andata di quegli altri rioni che completavano il borgo: la Torricella, san Martino, San Sebastiano, Via Nuova, San Nicola e Santa Elisabetta. Più giù, verso il fiume, si alza ancora il perimetro dell'antichissima Chiesa di San Martino, probabilmente il primo centro di culto della "Burgentia Fidelis". Domina sulla confluenza di due torrenti (il Pergola e il Fiumicello) la torretta di guardia ("Trucedda" - torretta), all'estremità della cinta muraria che sale fino alla torre circolare del Castello, posta a nord The village of Brienza presents itself with a centripetal winding model having as its natural fulcrum the Caracciolo Castle, located at the top of a hill on the slopes of which they envelop and wriggle in a myriad of perspectives concentric bundles of houses, clinging precariously to the steep rock . B	Bart Baaten on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Virtually impossible to visit. You need to make an appointment first but the number is only to be found at a gate just below the old citadel. The rest of the "city" is not very interesting. It's a shame that this city, just as many other places in Campania, does not use its potential when it comes to tourism.
B	Ben Yarrow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful little town, tucked away out of the tourist routes. Loads of tiny shops selling local food, wine and produce. Old men playing card games outside the bars. Dozens of little side streets winding around the place. Parking tricky but keep circling the town until you see the large 'P' signs.
