★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima visita, effettuata dopo prenotazione telefonica. L'appassionato e preparatissimo Eduardo ci ha condotto in ogni angolo del borgo medievale: dai Longobardi a Napoleone e oltre! Una passeggiata davvero interessante, che ricorderemo sicuramente.
 Beautiful visit, made after telephone booking. The passionate and highly trained Eduardo led us to every corner of the medieval village: from the Lombards to Napoleon and beyond! A really interesting walk, which we will surely remember.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Historisches Schloss im malerischen Brienza mitten in der Basilicata.
Dank dem Wiederaufbau und der Renovierung der zerfallenden Ruine ist es heute ein sehenswerter kultureller Ort mit Geschichte.
Am Fuss des Schlosses finden sich die Ruinen des alten Brienza in dem Mario Pagano geboren und aufgewachsen ist.
Die Renovationsarbeiten sind noch im Gange aber Führungen mit geschultem Personal finden regelmässig statt.
Historic castle in picturesque Brienza in the middle of Basilicata.
Thanks to the reconstruction and renovation of the crumbling ruin, it is now a remarkable cultural place with history.
At the foot of the castle are the ruins of old Brienza, where Mario Pagano was born and grew up.
The renovation work is still ongoing, but guided tours with trained staff take place regularly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Castello molto bello e storico, peccato che, come il borgo, sia in perenne restauro. Comunque il sabato e la domenica è possibile visitare il borgo su prenotazione.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pomeriggio interessante all'insegna del buon umore e del mistero...dove sarà il tesoro della nobildonna Bianca?
La leggenda narra che Bianca tenesse nascosto il suo tesoro in una delle stanze del castello , la 366esima. Il suo segreto era gelosamente custodito dalla fedelissima ancella che ancora oggi cerca di vegliare sul tesoro della nobildonna....
La passeggiata lungo i ruderi della città vecchia dispone la mente e l'animo ad una pace rara fino alla chiesa sconsacrata di San Martino dove per un attimo, complice un deciso soffio di vento, siamo stati "protagonisti " di una scena del famoso film "Quando la moglie va in vacanza" con una simpaticissima Marilyn Monroe Lucana ..
Vale la pena passare anche solo per il paesaggio e per la Marilyn Lucana..la guida, Cataldina, è stata simpaticissima e disponibile.
Il tempo è passato in fretta e abbiamo potuto assaporare anche delle buonissime more selvatiche.
Un saluto alla ProLoco di Brienza che gestisce le visite guidate.

It is worth going through just for the landscape and for the Marilyn Lucana .. the guide, Cataldina, was very nice and helpful.
Time passed quickly and we were also able to savor some delicious wild blackberries.
