β β β β β Peculiar table service, but totally professional. Humongous book of wines. Of course, best choice for pasta dishes in the Ara Pacis area, although I found their saltimbocca to be quite intriguing as well.

The wine list is a thousand page tome that terrified me, but we took the staff recommendations and were very happy.

β β β β β Service was very good, we came late and didnβt have a reservation but they managed to sit us down. We ate steaks and drank red wine, food was among the best I ever ate. Prices are okay for this kind of place. Iβd recommend it to anyone who wants to try out traditional food.

Attractive and pleasant atmosphere inside.
Service was terrific, the staff by the end were jokingly teasing us with other food they were expertly spiriting to other tables because we were so full having tried so much!
Food is potentially a little intimidating on the menu in places. Cows tail, bowel, brain and sweetbreads all featured at some point, but more "normal" options are plentiful too, without the menu being overly large.
Wine list... It's as thick as a phonebook! Very much enjoyed what I had.
Unequivocal recommendation for food if you can get a table.

β β β β β Amazing restaurant. They were fully booked and we didn't have a reservation but nevertheless they gave us a table.
Everything from the fiori di zucca, the mozzarella fritta, the carbonara and the arrabbiata were fantastic. Also very decent wine prices.
I would definitely go back next time we are in Rome.
