★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scoperto in occasione della mostra sul design giapponese tra fine Ottocento e i giorni nostri (ancora in corso). Splendido allestimento con esposizione di molti originali e pannelli di riproduzioni davvero suggestivi. L'edificio, ottimamente restaurato, conserva saloni con affreschi quattrocenteschi davvero pregevoli. Merita assolutamente una visita.
 Discovered on the occasion of the exhibition on Japanese design between the late nineteenth century and the present day (still in progress). Splendid set-up with display of many originals and really suggestive reproduction panels. The excellently restored building retains halls with truly valuable fifteenth-century frescoes. Absolutely worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Belle le due mostre in particolare quella dedicata a Piero Chiara. Bellissimi gli affreschi rimasti che testimoniano l'interessante passato del Castello.
The two exhibitions, in particular the one dedicated to Piero Chiara, are beautiful. The remaining frescoes testify to the interesting past of the castle are beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nasce come torre di avvistamento su un'altura in posizione dominante per poi essere nei secoli trasformato in villa ed abbellito con affreschi di pregio. Circondato da un parco all'inglese di circa tre ettari, con ampio parcheggio all'entrata, è oggi sede museale del Civico Museo d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Varese oltre che sede di varie mostre e manifestazioni.
It was born as a watchtower on a hill in a dominant position to then be transformed into a villa over the centuries and embellished with valuable frescoes. Surrounded by an English park of about three hectares, with ample parking at the entrance, it is now the museum of the Civic Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Varese as well as the seat of various exhibitions and events.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for an exhibition of Japanese graphic art, the place contains a fair number of not-so-minor artists' works. Personnel utmost kind and helpful. The surrounding park is very nice, but nearby traffic noise denies enjoyability.
