★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wer sich nicht dem Trubel auf der Fanes Hütte aussetzen möchte der findet hier einen sonnigen Platz und kann das vor ihm liegende Panorama bei einem kühlen Getränk und einer deftigen Brotzeit genießen.
Hier wird man freundlich bedient und wer mit Kindern unterwegs ist findet in unmittelbarer Umgebung der Malga für sie am Bach auch schöne Fleckchen zum spielen.
 Who does not want to expose himself to the hustle and bustle on the Fanes hut finds here a sunny place and can enjoy the panorama in front of him with a cool drink and a hearty snack.
Here you will be served friendly and who is traveling with children will find in the immediate vicinity of the Malga for them at the stream also nice spots to play.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buona cucina. Stanze carine, ma con letti praticamente attaccati. Un bagno interno e uno esterno non troppo puliti. Meglio la doccia al piano superiore, anche se piccolissima. Non prendono i telefoni.
Good cooking. Nice rooms, but with practically attached beds. One internal and one external bathroom not too clean. Better the shower upstairs, even if very small. They don't take phones.

The location is certainly very suggestive but the lack of hospitality on the part of the employee who served us does not encourage me for a future stop. You can certainly be more cordial and have positive feedback.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had made reservation for an overnight stay, confirmed by email. We walked from Lago di Braies, a long hike. When we arrived at 6 pm nobody was there. We were tired and all the other rifugios in the area where fully booked. No phone, no internet in the area.
(They were most kind to us at Rifugio Fanes and took us in anyway, we were very grateful.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid at all costs. You sleep with 12 other people on the floor, dinner is nth special, breakfast is really really poor, no shower, one bathroom. Everything would be fine but price 50€pp for what you get is radicialous!
