★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You wouldn't believe how many obnoxious people you'll find at this Beach on a sunny day. Total strangers where acting like they were the owners of the beach and repeatedly tried to intimidate us all day. We felt completely unwelcome. And it happened everywhere we went. It is the first time in my life that I left the beach feeling worse than when I got there. And what were we doing to attract all this negative attention? Playing with our dogs on a 90% empty beach during the season where it is still legal to bring them there. No we did not leave our dog poop on the beach we cleaned it up everytime. No our dogs were not harassing people or hurting children or doing any damage to anything or anyone. They were playing with us and with each other and that's it. So thank you to all the jerks who went out of their way to harass us and the other people there with their dogs.

Non crederesti mai quante persone odiose troverai in una giornata di sole in quella spiaggia. Gli estranei totali si comportano come se fossero propri e cercano di intimidirci tutto il giorno. Ci siamo sentiti completamente sgraditi. Non è successo solo una volta. Era il tema ovunque andavamo. E 'la prima volta nella mia vita che ho lasciato la spiaggia sentendomi peggio di quando sono arrivato lì. E tutto quello che stavamo facendo era giocare con i nostri cani che non stavano facendo del male a nessuno. Abbiamo pulito dopo i nostri cani. La spiaggia era vuota al 90% e siamo ancora nella stagione in cui è legale portarli in spiaggia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely clean sea, toilets and showers available which are maintained, a couple of bars there too. Worth a visit , but can get packed , choose your time wisely to get a good spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Basically a very long pedestrianised promenade at the seafront with shops, bars, restaurants and public areas. Actually quite nice to walk but be aware of cyclists if you have small children. Seems to be very popular and can imagine it being absolutely packed at height of season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Follonica's somewhat lumbering and charmless modern skyline is vastly compensated by this scenic and lively waterfront promenade with stunning views of elba and tyrrhenian sea as far as Corsica, lots of shops , beach venues, restaurants and bars until late.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice long and overall well maintained seafront. You have plenty of beach bars and most of it is just for pedestrians. Great for children as there are few playgrounds. If you do not want to see noisy and screaming children, go somewhere else though.
