Ve lo consiglio, ma riservate se volete un posticino xché non è grandissimo. It was a really nice experience to have dinner in this little restaurant. The dishes are excellent and cooked with care and love. Perfect service and top location. I recommend it, but reserve if you want a place because it is not very big.

Prezzi giusti, ma per mio gusto troppo aglio nello spaghetto alle vongole. Non tornerei. Friendly staff but very small place which can consequently be very noisy and a little claustrophobic, also because the tables are very close together. Fair prices, but for my taste too much garlic in spaghetti with clams. I would not go back.

Servizio un po’ grossolano, con un po’ più di tatto ci sarebbe stato più equilibrio. Ho chiesto un Vermentino e ho ricevuto un generico bianco toscano... c’è un po’ di differenza... meglio spiegare e parlare con l’ospite. A small corner of the Ausonia bathroom where you can enjoy excellent, fanciful dishes with sophisticated dishes. Service a little coarse, with a little more tact there would have been more balance. I asked for a Vermentino and I received a generic Tuscan white ... there is a bit of difference ... better to explain and talk with the guest.

s	sara giuliano on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorantino ieri sera. Lo abbiamo visto tra i tanti di Follonica, ma per gusto personale ci ha particolarmente attratti a prima vista. Decidiamo di chiedere due posti a sedere e fortunatamente ci trovano uno degli ultimissimi tavoli disponibili della serata. Che dire, meno male che ci siamo passati davanti! Reduci da una cena a Castiglione della pescaia (in un ristorante conosciuto e frequentato da anni) che purtroppo ci ha molto delusi, abbiamo avuto il nostro riscatto grazie al ristorantino L'ombra! Personale gentile e accogliente, servizio semplice e informale, location curata e caratteristica, di nostro gradimento. Per quanto riguarda il cibo abbiamo mangiato l'impepata di cozze (strepitosa!), spaghetto alle vongole (ben condito, al dente e mantecato bene), paccheri all'amatriciana di mare (una nota particolarmente positiva per questo piatto che era strepitoso! Sugo eccezionale, cremoso, saporito, cotto perfettamente, un piatto da dieci!) una frittura di pesce (ben fritta e non unta e pesante), un tiramisù, caffè, acqua e un vermentino fresco, semplice, di buona bevuta. Conto 73 euro per una cena da leccarsi i baffi in un ambiente molto carino! Talmente soddisfatti che ci ritorneremo domani sera a cena prima di partire per tornare a casa! We had dinner at this little restaurant last night. We have seen it among the many in Follonica, but for personal taste it particularly attracted us at first sight. We decide to ask for two seats and luckily they find us one of the very last tables available of the evening. What can I say, thank goodness we passed in front of it! Returning from a dinner in Castiglione della Pescaia (in a restaurant known and frequented for years) which unfortunately disappointed us very much, we had our redemption thanks to the restaurant L'ombra! Friendly and welcoming staff, simple and informal service, well-kept and characteristic location, to our liking. As for the food we ate the peppered mussels (amazing!), Spaghetti with clams (well seasoned, al dente and creamed well), paccheri all'amatriciana di mare (a particularly positive note for this dish which was amazing! exceptional, creamy, tasty, perfectly cooked, a plate of ten!) a fried fish (well fried and not greasy and heavy), a tiramisu, coffee, water and a fresh, simple, well-drunk Vermentino. I count 73 euros for a mouth-watering dinner in a very nice setting! So satisfied that we will be back tomorrow night for dinner before leaving to go home!
