★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paesaggio mozzafiato, acqua freschissima, facile da raggiungere; consiglio vivamente nel rispetto della natura, ovvero cortesemente le cicche delle sigarette riportatele a casa.
 Breathtaking landscape, fresh water, easy to reach; I highly recommend respecting nature, that is to say the cigarette ends returned home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purtroppo le gole sono chiuse per frana dal luglio 2019. Il monastero di San Marino non è visitabile. La zona ed i sentieri sono chiusi al transito.
Unfortunately the gorges have been closed by landslides since July 2019. The monastery of San Marino cannot be visited. The area and the paths are closed to transit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una bella camminata e un buon posto per riposare e fare il pieno di acqua. Tavoli e punto fuoco per un'eventuale grigliata (si raccomanda di spegnere le braci con acqua alla fine)
A nice walk and a good place to rest and fill up on water. Tables and fire point for a possible barbecue (it is recommended to turn off the embers with water at the end)

Alla portata di tutti, e meno di mezz'ora di marcia dal parcheggio prima di entrare nella gola di Fara San Martino.
Molto bella, fonte di approvigionamento acqua per una semplice passeggiata o per il lungo trekking fino alla vetta del Monte Amaro a quota 2793 mt slm..(non alla portata di tutti)
Beautiful source in the Santo Spirito valley in the Majella National Park.
Within everyone's reach, and less than half an hour's walk from the parking lot before entering the gorge of Fara San Martino.
Very beautiful, source of water supply for a simple walk or for the long trek to the summit of Monte Amaro at an altitude of 2793 meters above sea level. (Not within everyone's reach)

Delicious stopping point: table, fresh water and paddling pool. All sheltered by an immense rocky hollow.

Small area where to stop to quench your thirst thanks to the clear water that comes out of the fountain! There is also a picnic table, a post for the furnace all in the shade of a large tree

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Picnick? Yes please. Vaiz Long is a natural cave in the Majella mountain. Fresh pure water comes out of a fountain built by volunteers of the community of Fara San Martino, and make this place a nice location for a nice lunch together with your family and friends. There are 2 tables and a barbecue, that's all you need really for a Sunday in the wild. Only 15 minutes walk from the parking area in Fara San Martino valley. Surely recommended for a peaceful escape
