I remember the old central Pescara station, with no underpass that had to close the bars that divided the city of Pescara to every train that had to go to Montesilvano or that came from Montesilvano, and there was the old single track railway line up to Montesilvano that passed right next to the Dancing Discoteca LE NAIADI where in the summer I went to see the concerts of the orchestras of smooth by Raoul Casadei and Vittorio Borghesi and when I went to the beach with my family to the bathing season from Via Tripodi to go to sea ​​we had to climb the railway escarpment and come back to find ourselves on the beach, and I still remember when there was the old station from the end of the 60s until the end of the 70s when my mother and I took the train in the evening at about 22.00 , 40 to return home to Voghera at the central Pescara station there were TWO stationary wagons that we used to take the place to sit, and these TWO wagons attached them to the train that came from Bari and / or from Lecce and that went up to Turin, ... although at that time I would have been 7.8 or 9 years old and now I have almost 60, I still remember my memories of Pescara are indelible, that Pescara is my 2nd city, in the center if someone would ask me for some "way" I can give it to them, because there was my aunt "my mother's sister" who from 1967 to 1979 to lived in Via Bologna 42/5 in Pescara, in the area of ​​the PARAVIA bookshop, where nearby there is also the high school where my cousin and her friends went and in front of the high school in Via Venezia there is a HISTORICAL AND RENOWNED PIZZERIA which has been open since 1966 and is among the first pizzerias in Pescara !!!
