You can breathe the air of the 19th century and you can imagine the poet's childhood life. The combination of nocturnal poetry (in which he describes his birthplace) and the museum itinerary fits perfectly. An evocative visit in which you will also discover, from the clothes on display, that D'annunzio was a stopper: p

Birthplace of Gabriele D'Annunzio, born on 12 March 1863 in Pescara and died in Gardone Riviera on 1 March 1938. Nicknamed "il Vate", that is, "sacred poet, prophet", singer of Umbertine Italy, or also "the Imaginific ", occupied a prominent position in Italian literature from about 1889 to 1910 and in political life from 1914 to 1924. He has been defined as "exceptional and last interpreter of the most enduring Italian poetic tradition". As a political figure, he made a mark on his time and had a significant influence on the events that would follow him. Visiting his home was an honor for me! A unique emotion !! The author of my favorite book "The pleasure".

Esperienza molto interessante.
Very interesting experience. Nice to see the house where the poet lived. I enjoyed the guided tour with the extracted quotes that explain the different rooms of the house. I recommend the visit if you are in Pescara!

This is what I would consider a close encounter with recent Italian history. More than a Gabrielle d'Annunzio birth place, this museum might be a window to the last year's of 18 century and initial third of the 1900 of italy. Modest museum in a very nice locstion. A must GO when in Pescara
