The service, food and wine is absolutely outstanding! The location and views are mesmerising so it’s a great bonus with the perfectly renovated historical building. I appreciated their attention to details in the designs and furniture, mixing design classics with rustic furniture and fixings.
Highly recommended!

Within close reach of Orvieto, it is a retreat for those who appreciate elegance, tranquility and architectural beauty. I especially enjoyed the dinner and after dinner drinks at the lobby with all space by myself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a very pleasant stay in November. I was the only guest so I felt like the master of this 'castle'. That's a nice experience. In the evening I had my servant and the chef in the kitchen. The food was 'designer' food I'd call it: little portions but visual very nice. At the end of the meal I had enough to eat.
Great place to stay if you can afford it. Ground level of the building is great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Locanda Palazzone is just a special place. It was the most expensive stay during my trip through Italy but I enjoyed every piece of it. The location is truly beautiful, the property as well, the communication upfront as well as during the stay was efficient and friendly and the room I booked (Junior Suite) was clean and spacious and had a beautiful landscape view. We had dinner and enjoyed the 4 course menu including wine tasting very much. I will definitely order some of the Wine once I'm back to Germany :-) Place gets my recommendation!
