Inoltre molti dei prodotti sono pluripremiati, in primis La Muffa Nobile "Calcaia", il Luigi e Giovanna, il Polvento. Ottimo anche Castagnolo e Foresco! Vini di qualità, si va da un gusto forte e deciso del Polvento invecchiato ad un gusto dolce e delicato del Calcaia, fatto con la particolare Muffa Nobile. Lo consiglio!! Recommended by the owner of Camping Il Falcone, it did not disappoint expectations in the slightest. Dietro a dei vini così particolari ed eccellenti non potevano che esserci delle persone consapevoli, legate alle radici e allo stesso tempo con una visione imprenditoriale e di mercato lucida e lungimirante. La degustazione dei loro vini è stata un'esperienza sinestetica senza paragoni e aver avuto la fortuna di vedere e "assaggiare" in vigna la "Muffa Nobile" è stato il tocco finale di un pomeriggio autunnale che rimarrà a lungo nella memoria. Ci rivedremo presto! I had the privilege of visiting the Barberani winery this afternoon with the guidance of the two brothers who carry on the family tradition, Niccolò and Bernardo. In negozio abbiamo conosciuto Michele che ci ha guidato, in maniera gentile e attenta, all’acquisto. Davvero competente. Sicuramente torneremo quando saremo in zona! Grazie We visited the winery and the shop returning from Orvieto towards Perugia. Nice view on the Corbara lake. In the shop we met Michele who guided us, in a kind and careful way, to purchase. This though they in the middle of de preparations for the event "Cantine Aperte 2016 Umbria". Barberani offers beautiful Orvieto wines but also interesting red wines which have already achieved "tre bicchieri" in the Gambero Rosso. eg. Polvento, a very nice blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet and Merlot. For me the highlight of the tasting, the Moscato Passito, a dessert wine at its best as a companion to blue cheese or old pecorino.
