★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un tripudio di sapori! Dall'antipasto al primo al secondo i commenti possono essere solo positivi.. Finalmente dei ravioli di cinghiale dove il cinghiale si sente! Maialino tenerissimo che quasi si scioglieva in bocca..ma il re indiscusso è sicuramente lo strolghino.. Da favola!! Gutturnio delicatissimo.. 2 bicchieri sono d'obbligo.Ci tornerò sicuramente anche solo per acquistare i loro prodotti.
 A riot of flavors! From the appetizer to the first to the second, the comments can only be positive .. Finally some wild boar ravioli where the wild boar can be heard! Very tender pig that almost melted in the mouth .. but the undisputed king is definitely the strolghino .. Fairytale !! Gutturnio very delicate .. 2 glasses are a must. I will definitely come back just to buy their products.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima giornata a Castel Arquato per SAN VALENTINO. Pranzo all "LOCANDA DEL VERRO" Posticino incantevole. Ottimo pranzo. Tortelli alle castagne, tortelli di cinghiale, polenta con guanciale di manzo al vino rosso. Ottimo gutturnio e ottimo semifreddo. Bisogna tornarci per gustare il tagliere di salumi locali.... consigliato da nostro figlio.
Beautiful day in Castel Arquato for SAN VALENTINO. Lunch at the "LOCANDA DEL VERRO" Charming little place. Great lunch. Tortelli with chestnuts, wild boar tortelli, polenta with beef cheek in red wine. Excellent gutturnio and excellent semifreddo. You have to go back to taste the platter of local cold cuts .... recommended by our son.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Osteria molto carina e facile da trovare che si trova dietro la piazza principale. Affianco si trova un bar con prezzi modici. Abbiamo prenotato verso le 12:30 un tavolo all’Esterno. Abbiamo ordinato un piatto misto di salumi della zona per 2 persone, degli spaghetti ai porcini, delle linguine con tartufo e aglio nero. Come secondo tutto perché ci sono solo 3 secondi.
Gli antipasti erano di bassa qualità e molto DURI! Soprattutto il salame. I primi erano passabili tranne le linguine al tartufo nero, nel quale il tartufo toglieva molto il gusto.
I secondo non buoni. Carne durissima e sembrava cucinata il giorno prima. L’unica cosa salvabile erano i pomodori e le patate al forno.
In tutto ciò il servizio è stato veramente LENTISSIMO!! Prezzi giusti per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Dai commenti letti non mi aspettavo questo tipo di osteria.
Very nice and easy to find tavern which is located behind the main square. Next to it is a bar with moderate prices. We booked a table outside around 12:30. We ordered a mixed plate of local cold cuts for 2 people, spaghetti with porcini, linguine with truffle and black garlic. As a second all because there are only 3 seconds.
The starters were low quality and very HARD! Especially the salami. The first were passable except the linguine with black truffle, in which the truffle greatly detracted from the taste.
The second not good. Very hard meat and looked like it had been cooked the day before. The only thing that could be saved was the baked tomatoes and potatoes.
In all of this the service was really VERY SLOW !! Fair prices for what we ate. From the comments I read I did not expect this type of tavern.

Grazioso ristorantino in centro al paese. Appena varcata la soglia sembra di entrare in un negozio di prodotti tipici piacentini…ed in effetti è così!!! Ma basta girare l’angolo per entrare o meglio scendere in una sala ristorante molto accogliente e dall’aspetto rustico ma elegante.
Piatti invitanti, partendo dai classici affettati piacentini che non potete non provare per passare a primi e secondi davvero ben fatti e gustosi.
A farla da padrone in questo locale è la carne di maiale ma non poteva essere diversamente visto il nome del ristorante.
Noi abbiamo preso un tagliere misto e due secondi: un filetto di maiale arrosto coi frutti di bosco e del maiale lessato e servito con diverse salse. Entrambi fenomenali, specialmente quello lessato.
Per finire: personale e proprietario davvero gentili e accoglienti e prezzi assolutamente onesti, si consideri che un primo sta sui 10 euro massimo e i secondi sui 12 euro in media.
Se poi uscendo qualcuno volesse portarsi un pezzo di sapori piacentini a casa…come dicevo all’ingresso è possibile acquistare prodotti locali.
Dovessi tornare a Castell’Arquato sicuramente tornerò ad assaporare qualche altro piatto qui.

Nice little restaurant in the town center. As soon as you cross the threshold it seems to enter a shop of typical Piacenza products… and indeed it is !!! But just turn the corner to enter or rather go down to a very welcoming restaurant with a rustic but elegant appearance.
Inviting dishes, starting from the classic Piacenza cold cuts that you cannot fail to try to switch to really well made and tasty first and second courses.
Pork is the main ingredient in this place, but it couldn't have been otherwise given the name of the restaurant.
We took a mixed platter and two main courses: a roast pork fillet with berries and pork boiled and served with different sauces. Both phenomenal, especially the boiled one.
Finally: really kind and welcoming staff and owner and absolutely honest prices, consider that a first is about 10 euros maximum and the second ones about 12 euros on average.
And if someone wants to take a piece of Piacenza flavors home with him on his way out ... as I said at the entrance, you can buy local products.
If I return to Castell’Arquato, I will certainly return to savor some other dishes here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima locanda rustica nel borgo di Castell'Arquato! La prima cosa che adoro di questo locale è l'ambiente: la saletta al piano di sotto è tutta in sassi ed ha il soffitto a volta, mentre al piano principale è possibile mangiare in una salettina con tanti bei salumi!? Nella bella stagione ci sono anche tavoli all'esterno.
Vi consiglio di iniziare con un bel tagliere di salumi misti, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, per poi proseguire con i primi di pasta fresca, uno più buono dell'altro! Io personalmente passerei direttamente al dolce, i secondi non li trovo eccezionali come il resto (gusto personale, comunque validi)!
L'aspetto più positivo è sicuramente il rapporto qualità prezzo, sia primi che secondi non superano i 12 €, tagliere misto di salumi a 10 € a persona!

Beautiful rustic inn in the village of Castell'Arquato! The first thing I love about this place is the environment: the downstairs room is all made of stones and has a vaulted ceiling, while on the main floor it is possible to eat in a small room with lots of nice cold cuts! they are also tables outside.
I recommend you start with a nice platter of mixed cold cuts, excellent value for money, and then continue with the first courses of fresh pasta, one better than the other! I personally would go directly to dessert, I don't find the main courses as exceptional as the rest (personal taste, however valid)!
The most positive aspect is certainly the value for money, both first and second courses do not exceed € 12, a mixed platter of cold cuts for € 10 per person!
