★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic local cuisine, aged local cured hams, salamis, coppa and various other delicatessen with home made breads as starters, pasta dishes to follow that are a little more than the usual Italian fare and a choice of various meats as mains. I had the guinea fowl cooked in clay (grandma's recipe) which was tasty and tender and had crispy skin on top. Similar to duck confit without the "strong" duck taste. The wine list is very good with lots of white, rosé and red options in the 15 to 30€ range. Excellent desserts, friendly and efficient service. Good size dining room, large tables, modern yet tasteful art on the walls :-)

Don't be mislead by the simple decor, this is one of Italy's better dining experiences in the heart of one of it's great food regions. Superb ingredients and traditional, uncomplicated recipes. Try some of the dry local sparkling red wine - you'll be pleasantly surprised.
