★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food however we were not welcomed friendly simply because we arrived with our RV and our dog explored the sites. She is a very friendly and polite dog. It would have been nice to be allowed with the dog on the terrace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food, lovely venue. We enjoyed a warm welcome here. The owner took the time to explain the menu to us and guided us through a couple of selections - a salad of fennel and orange, pasta with a ragu of local sausage, steak cooked over the woodfire and some soup. All well delicious.
It's in a secluded spot with large grounds (great for kids to adventure) just outside Castelnuovo, ideal for a leisurely family lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has steaks to die for but you need to share them as they can be 1.3kg for the boned steak. They are succulent and very tasty. The starters are different and the tomato and and basil ice cream is definitely something for the gourmets to try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly service. Great food and wines. We were here the penultimate day of the holidays and decided to come back the last day too. Because it was the best of the previous three weeks. We shared the Fiorentina with 4, accompanied with a bottle of Ripasso. So good....
When you drive up there, don’t hesitate when you end up on a gravel road. Just continu, it’s worth it.
