Perfect, it gives the cozy feeling of an old library in the English countryside, books from the floor to the ceiling, last time I went I was so absorbed I completely lost track of time. There is an upper floor -with a squeaky staircase- with books in foreign languages, the selection is pretty good. The owner is also very enticing, has always a suggestion ready.

The shop assistant/owner couldn't have been more helpful in suggesting books for my 3 & 6 year-old bilingual grandchildren. She understood exactly what I wanted; simple-to-read English, but an interesting story. Saved me a couple of hours online! Thank you!

Love the English books on the second floor. Wish they could import more.

Amazing bookstore, gives you the actual feeling of being in an ancient library. Friendly staff which are busy with cleaning/maintaining the store but they are there when you need them. A lot of international books both non-fiction as fiction. Can highly recommend!

The best bookshop in Turin, very knowledgeable and friendly staff! If you need advice on books, they will certainly be able to help you. 10 stars!!

It could easily be the 10th wonder of the world..its stepping back in time..2 groundfloor staff were knowledgeable and very very helpful..the only disappointing factor was 1st floor staff member who didn't have the enthusiasm to greet her customers or offer service...we found editions not readily found elsewhere..

Nice to see this bookshop is still here, albeit under a different name. I found it first in 1977 as a 19 year old who was sent to help my grandparents who lived in Chieri. At the time, it was The British Bookshop, and I found some books to read. Always tried to stop by when I was in the area, but it has been many years now since I have visited Torino.

The second floor is for English and other language collection. Not a 'huge' bookshop but have some interesting collection, especially in the art, architecthure, and photography section. Enjoyable experience for its friendly staff and nice interior.
