★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Libreria situata in piazzale Cadorna angolo via Carducci. Non è molto grande, ma è ben rifornita e ben tenuta. Ha una vastissima scelta di testi, di vario genere, su Milano e sulla Lombardia. Gestita da personale professionale, competente e molto disponibile e consiglio sinceramente di visitarla.
Library located in Piazzale Cadorna at the corner of via Carducci. It is not very large, but it is well-stocked and well-maintained. He has a huge choice of texts, of various kinds, on Milan and Lombardy. Managed by professional, competent and very helpful staff and I sincerely recommend visiting it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mi piaciuta tantissimo! Le persone che la gestiscono sono DAVVERO competenti ed emotivamente coinvolte: di un libro sanno darvi le loro emozioni e non solo la trama o dei commenti generici. Unica pecca (ma che stia così che è meglio....) lo spazio davvero limitato. Però sono convinto che se raddoppiassero lo spazio, raddoppierebbero il numero di libri esposti!
I loved it! The people who manage it are REALLY competent and emotionally involved: they know how to give you their emotions and not just the plot or generic comments. The only flaw (but that's the way it is better ....) the really limited space. But I am convinced that if they double the space, they would double the number of books on display!

Cercavo un'idea regalo aldilà della milanesita', e i proprietari si sono rivelati accoglienti e cordiali oltre che discreti e preparati come da tradizione meneghina che si rispetti. Tantissima varietà e cultura nelle scelte dei libri.

I was looking for a gift idea beyond Milan, and the owners proved to be welcoming and friendly as well as being discreet and prepared according to the self-respecting Milanese tradition. A great deal of variety and culture in the choices of books.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dall'esterno, vicino alla stazione, sembra una libreria per turisti, con molti libri esposti su Milano. Ma all'interno l'atmosfera è molto diversa. Quello che più mi stupisce ogni volta è che la proprietaria, che se ne sta in disparte e sembra quasi non vederti quando entri, sa perfettamente che libri ci sono. Senza consultare il computer, sa benissimo a memoria se ci sono e dove sono. Se non ci sono te li procura in tempi brevi e se hai bisogno di consigli te li fornisce senza mai essere intrusiva, ma sempre molto cortese ed empatica.
From the outside, near the station, it looks like a tourist bookshop, with many books on display on Milan. But inside the atmosphere is very different. What amazes me most every time is that the owner, who stands on the sidelines and seems almost not to see you when you enter, knows perfectly well what books there are. Without consulting the computer, he knows very well by heart if they are there and where they are. If they are not there, they get them quickly and if you need advice, they provide them without ever being intrusive, but always very courteous and empathetic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastica questa libreria "vecchio stile" nel cuore di Milano, a un passo dalla stazione Cadorna, dove con tanta collaborazione e cortesia la Signora cerca e procura i libri che momentaneamente non sono disponibili. E chi è amante dei gatti trova un ambiente pieno di amore e rispetto per i Felini, con libri ad hoc, calendari dei rifugi (quando disponibili) e il piacere di quattro chiacchiere a tema mici, ovviamente (ma anche ottimi consigli letterari)
