★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L’Efebo di Subiaco è stato rinvenuto nel 1883 tra i ruderi della villa di Nerone, sulla riva sinistra del fiume Aniene.
In quel punto Nerone, con una diga, costrinse il fiume a formare un lago sul quale si specchiava il palazzo dove egli soggiornava durante i mesi estivi.
 The Efebo of Subiaco was found in 1883 among the ruins of the villa of Nero, on the left bank of the Aniene river.
