★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pietra Sprecata è uno degli angoli più caratteristici di Subiaco, sicuramente uno dei soggetti preferiti dagli artisti di ogni epoca.
Si tratta di una piazzetta molto piccola in cui ha sede un arco gotico con edicola dedicata alla Madonna e lo storico palazzo Torquemada, contraddistinto dalle due bifore superstiti.
Pietra Sprecata is one of the most characteristic corners of Subiaco, certainly one of the favorite subjects of artists of all ages.
It is a very small square in which there is a Gothic arch with aedicule dedicated to the Madonna and the historic Torquemada palace, distinguished by the two surviving mullioned windows.

One of the most beautiful squares in Subiaco, which is located in the center between the old part of the town and the more modern one. It is absolutely worth a visit, strictly on foot, perhaps to go and visit the Rocca Abbaziale.

L'arco ha ceduto tanto tempo fa e da allora gli abitanti di Subiaco chiamano questo posto "pietra sprecata" perché ciò che è rimasto non serve più. Però è bello.
