Portate il costume che nelle giornate particolarmente calde un bagno nelle "piscine" che crea il letto del fiume, sarà rigenerante! Enchanting place to spend a day in the cool of the Farfa river. Water at 17 degrees clear that is almost to drink. Bring your swimsuit that on particularly hot days a swim in the "pools" created by the river bed will be regenerating!

C	Christian Lungarini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Splendido luogo "selvaggio", immerso nel verde e dove poter ammirare il fiume Farfa e i suoi "abitanti" (non difficile da incontrare voi, cinghiali, trote ed altri animali) davvero un posto da visitare. Beautiful "wild" place, surrounded by greenery and where you can admire the Farfa river and its "inhabitants" (not difficult to meet you, wild boars, trout and other animals) really a place to visit.

La presenza di antichi mulini e del ponte romano arricchisce l'esperienza di chi decide di avventurarsi lungo il percorso. Il sito meriterebbe 5 stelle ma la presenza di qualche rifiuto e il percorso non curatissimo nella manutenzione diminuisce seppur di poco la piacevolezza dell'esperienza. Nel complesso un luogo che non può non essere visto almeno una volta. A place where nature has created beautiful views. The presence of ancient mills and the Roman bridge enriches the experience of those who decide to venture along the route. The site deserves 5 stars but the presence of some waste and the path not well cared for in maintenance decreases the pleasantness of the experience, albeit slightly. Overall a place that cannot fail to be seen at least once.

L'acqua è sempre gelida e cristallina e se ne può seguire il corso fino alle aree più impervie dove, se siete fortunati, vi potrebbe capitare di scorgere somari e capre al pascolo in prossimità della via ferrata che risale il fianco della collina, sotto Mompeo Beautiful location about sixty km from Rome. The wooded environment is crossed by the river in which it is possible to find tiny forms of life. The water is always freezing and crystalline and you can follow its course up to the most inaccessible areas where, if you are lucky, you might spot donkeys and goats grazing near the via ferrata that goes up the hillside, below Mompeo.

E' un monumento naturale immerso nella natura splendida della Sabina in un territorio di 35 ettari tra Mompeo e Castelnuovo di Farfa. Notevoli il ponte medievale e la mola, del ponte romano é rimasta solo una piccola porzione. Bella la foresta ripariale con i tronchi degli alberi ricoperti di muschio. It is a natural monument immersed in the splendid nature of the Sabina in an area of 35 hectares between Mompeo and Castelnuovo di Farfa. There's quite a steep walk down from the nearby roads into the creek but the stream, ruined bridge and old watermill make for a picturesque spot to relax. I was here for nearly a whole afternoon enjoying the scene without meeting anyone else.
