It was quite busy even on a weekday and off season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool place, amazing castle you can visit at the cost of €8. The views are amazing to take some amazijg photos. Not so far from the center. Yummy food!
Then at the end of the road there's the lake with its fresh water!
A must visit at summer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is the park of the volcanoes, or rather of the volcanoes that are no longer there. Bracciano is a large and man-made farm, extending much less Martignano, the two lakes occupy the bottom of a basin linked to the activity of the ancient Sabatino volcano, which reached its peak around 400,000 years ago.
But of a past made of explosions and earthquakes today there is only a placid landscape of hills covered with woods, crowned by the mirrors of water where sailboats and canoes parade.
The lakes are an excellent destination for birdwatching. Walking on the banks or from a boat, binoculars in hand, you can observe many species of birds including coots, ducks even of a certain rarity such as the Turkish fistione and the ferruginous duck, species with northern distribution such as the scythe and the strolaga mezzana , birds of prey like the brown kite that nests in the surroundings. Among the fish that live in the lakes there are pike, perch, rudd and ruella.
Anguillara Sabazia, Trevignano Romano and the same Bracciano dominated by the mighty Orsini-Odescalchi Castle are the towns that rise on the shores of Lake Bracciano. The atmosphere of Martignano could not be more different, immersed in the solitude of the fields and reachable only on foot along a road that goes down to the bottom of the green valley that houses it.
