Le Agavi

Starting from the arrival until our check-out the customer- and room-service was absolutely perfect! - the dedicated parking space, breakfast, lunch and dinner were magnificent. Simply an amazing hotel with a stunning view, perfect location and very personalized service. Concerning the beach, everything's well organized and the sea is great too! Obviously, the Le Agavi Hotel is definitely worth a visit!

Le Agavi was an incredible place to spend our honeymoon last September! The staff were all so kind and receptive to any and all of our needs during our stay. The room itself was beautiful and so clean, and the AC worked well in spite of the hot weather when we went. The breakfast every morning was phenomenal — typically they had live music with someone playing a mandolin and another an acoustic guitar while we ate an amazing spread of delicious food while looking at the beautiful view of the coast below. I liked the option of taking the stairs down to the private beach as well as the elevator to get some more exercise. The beach was beautiful and water clear and warm to swim in. The shuttle down to the main area of town was always on time and super efficient (about a ten min ride). The funicular to get to different levels of the hotel was super neat and gave another opportunity to appreciate the insanely gorgeous views. Honestly the whole trip was like a dream and can’t wait to come back once travel is safe again!

Such a great hotel for us. The hotel is about a 7 minute drive from the center of Positano. I prefer this as the hotel is quite, spacious, and very relaxing. The service was fabulous. Every request was met with grace and acceptance. The restaurant, La Serra’s service was wonderful. The food was great too but definitely not as relatable as other restaurants in Positano as it has 1 Michelin star and each dish is extremely intentional and refined. The restaurant at the beach club is amazing. Highly recommend staying here. I will say, the lobby furniture is a bit dated. But the hotel is very very clean.

Le Agavi has breathtaking views of Positano and the sea. The beach club and swim area were excellent and their is a pool higher up by the rooms that we would rotate to later in the day. Le Agavi was fantastic and we can’t wait to go back.

It is simple amazing. Super one Michelin starred restaurant, perfect location shocking view. It is really super luxuries. The room had a small garden you go with their private around 200 meter cable car to the beach which is romantic. Just everything perfect.

Fabulous hotel located 5 minutes from the restaurants, etc. The hotel offers a shuttle all day (and night) to get in and out. The rooms were very nice and the views from the balcony were unbelievable. Staff were great and very welcoming.

I am a bit conflicted on this review. This was our first visit to Positano, and we loved the hotel overall and the experience it provided, but there were a few inconveniences. I’ll start with some of the good. The grounds and different areas of the hotel had me feeling straight out of a James Bond film. The views are amazing (maybe depending on what room you get), the complementary breakfast overlooking Positano every morning was perfect, the pool is fantastic, as well as the private beach/dock area. The private lift is also a cool novelty and I had fun riding it every day, but it can also be inefficient/slow. Also the complementary spa hour each day is a good perk we did not take advantage of enough. As for inconveniences: The main issue we had the first night was noisy upstairs neighbors and a lot of noise coming from the hallway. I am not sure how all rooms are, but our door had absolutely zero sound proofing. So due to loud people coming in late and cleaning crew early in the morning made it impossible to get a full comfortable nights rest. We brought this up to the front desk, but the alternate room that was offered (though more secluded) was not as nice as our current room, so we kept the original, hoping the noise would get better. Better sound proofing on the doors would’ve helped this issue significantly. The hotel does seem in a minor period of flux with rework/renovation coming into the first big season after the pandemic, which is understandable. Conversely to other reviews I actually liked how the hotel was removed from the downtown and the shuttle was convenient enough. However plan ahead if you have any time commitments, the lift can occasionally leave you stuck for 10-15 minutes. I am not sure how booked the hotel was when we stayed late spring, but I can only imagine this issue gets worse as the hotel moves into busy season. Other than that the hotel was great. The views, pool, private deck/beach, complementary spa, and free breakfast made up for any issues we had. We spent 2 full days just enjoying the hotel amenities. Also the bartender/chef at the pool made one of the best cheese burgers I ever had.

Our stay at Le Agavi was spectacular. The staff was amazing and accommodating. The rooms were breathtaking. The food was delicious. Friendly environment. The spa was unbelievable ! Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. We will be back when the weather is nicer and enjoy the pool. Loved everything about our stay !
