Book with a better company if you want to get into the Blue Grotto. Mate sold us tickets in Sorrento before we got to Capri...great idea EXCEPT that their boats have NO priority at the Blue Grotto. The tour around the island was fine but then we were told it was a 2hr wait for the Grotto. They brought us back to the pier and made us change boats to go back if we wanted to wait. The wait was 2+ hours, as we watched other boats turn up after us and get into the Grotto straight away. If you have limited time in Capri, book with someone else.

I would rate this company with a zero but you have to give at least one star. Beware!!!! We bought the transport ticket to the Blue Grotto and they told us the whole tour with the boat tour at the grotto would be around 1 1/2 hours. We boarded the boat and took 40 minutes to get to the grotto only to find out we would be sitting in our boat for over 2 hours in line to get into the smaller row boat. My issue is not with the lines it was that the operator was dishonest about the wait time. In fact he flat out lied. We asked to get on another boat to return which they did allow. I went back to operator to ask for my money back and he would not budge. When I role him he lied he said he would sell any tickets if he sold the real wait times. Do NOT waste one dime on this company. There are many other reputable ones who will be truthful and give you a good tour. We are only here for a few hours and our time was precious. This the reason for specifically asking how long the total tour was Beautiful island. Do your research!!!!

The guide is funny and gives you lots of facts about the island. However, if you want to go to the blue grotta its very disorganized. Once we got to the location, the guide explained in italian that we wouldn’t go in at that moment because there were too many people, it wasn’t until we asked that he explained in english. So after you go back to the port, you have to do another queue to another boat that takes you. At the end, everything worked out fine but it’s annoying when these things are not explained up front, especially if you are a tourist and you don’t understand what is happening

We did the island tour without the Blue Grotto option. What wasn’t stated on their website is that even if you don’t want to go into the Grotto you still have to wait for everyone else on your boat to go in and come back… We waited for over 1 hour in the boat doing nothing! Some people even felt sick because of the waves. It would be a lot better if they separated the boats so that people don’t have to wait around doing nothing if you chose to not go into the Grotto. The tour itself was nice, and it lasted another hour. I’d say if you don’t want to go into the Grotto it’s not worth it because of the long waiting times

We had a very good experience. We went all around the island. The tour guide did seem like he was over saying the same things however he did add a little humour. They did know where to stop for the money shots. The boat was big also which meant we didn't feel the waves as much. We sat at the top. Limited seats so get in quick for thr top.

Tour Around the island of Capri was fun and crew provided information on what we were all looking at. As other reviewers have mentioned they will stop at the Blue Grotto however should you want to wait in line to go inside the tour will not wait for you so I would recommend that you find a direct grotto ferry instead.

Great way to circle the entire island of Capri, taking in all the sights along the shoreline. Dropping off to the Blue Grotto is available, providing weather conditions allow. It might be recommended to have a guide take you around on the Laser Capri ride and explain the sites in your native language. The tour operator speaks in Italian and English but only gives limited information. The trip takes approximately 1 hour if no β€œBlue Grotto” stop is provided.

We did the island tour without the Blue Grotto visit on a day with rough sea and I am impressed at how close we got to the rocks and cliffs. Also, the timetable for the tour isn’t always accurate as we lined up at dock 23/24 for the 1PM tour and didn’t get on until 1:45PM. The tour takes you clockwise around the island so the best seat on the boat is on the right when facing the front (boarding area) of the boat.
