★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Detto anche "Laghetto delle Acciaierie", è un suggestivo laghetto artificiale realizzato dalla ex soc. Terni nel 1889, dal quale partivano le condotte d'acqua dirette alla Centrale di Marmore. Tale impianto è stato parzialmente dismesso nel 1929 con l'apertura della Centrale di Galleto. L'area è recintata ed inaccessibile, e dall'esterno si possono ancora vedere i fabbricati abbandonati e le opere di presa avvolte dalla vegetazione. Il lago è popolato da diversi uccelli acquatici e d'estate, nell'acqua limpida, si vedono dei pesci, probabilmente trote. L'area andrebbe valorizzata e resa fruibile.
Also known as "Laghetto delle Acciaierie", it is a suggestive artificial lake created by the former soc. Terni in 1889, from which the water pipes leading to the Marmore power station departed. This plant was partially decommissioned in 1929 with the opening of the Galleto power plant. The area is fenced and inaccessible, and from the outside you can still see the abandoned buildings and the intake works surrounded by vegetation. The lake is populated by various water birds and in summer, in the clear water, you can see fish, probably trout. The area should be enhanced and made usable.
