★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bel posto. Non è un ristorante ma un baretto gestito dagli alpini che offrono grigliate di carne e piatti caldi. Bella atmosfera.
 Nice place. It is not a restaurant but a little bar run by the Alpini who offer grilled meat and hot dishes. Nice atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ieri pomeriggio abbiamo fatto una bellissima camminata in mezzo ad un paesaggio stupendo e pittoresco...non riuscivamo a staccare gli occhi da infinita bellezza... eravamo stupefatti ed ammaliati da tanta magnificenza... abbiamo conosciuto 2alpini,uno dei quali (Luigi) ,ci ha concesso di visitare la torre con le campane!!!! Eravamo al 7' cielo!!!! Grazie alpini per la vostra splendida gentilezza!!! Torneremo sicuramente a trovarvi di nuovo! Un abbraccio da Marco e Romana, Negrar di Valpolicella VR ????
Yesterday afternoon we had a wonderful walk in the middle of a beautiful and picturesque landscape ... we could not take our eyes off infinite beauty ... we were amazed and fascinated by such magnificence ... we met 2alpini, one of whom (Luigi) , he allowed us to visit the tower with the bells !!!! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sulla sommità del colle, amena località alle falde del Monte Canto, sorgeva nel remoto 964 un fortilizio, trasformato successivamente in torre, gioiello indiscutibile di arte romanica.
Vicino alla torre fu construita la prima chiesa parrocchiale dedicata a S. Giovanni Battista e consacrata il 4 maggio 1356.
Ricostruita nel 1455 e ampliata nel 1727.
La chiesa nel 1904 fu abbattuta e con il materiale derivante fu costruita l’attuale chiesa parrocchia di S. Giovanni Battista in luogo maggiormente accessibile ai fedeli.
On the top of the hill, a pleasant locality at the foot of Monte Canto, a fortress rose in 964, later transformed into a tower, an indisputable jewel of Romanesque art.
The first parish church dedicated to St. John the Baptist was built near the tower and consecrated on May 4, 1356.
Rebuilt in 1455 and enlarged in 1727.
The church was demolished in 1904 and the current parish church of St. John the Baptist was built with the resulting material in a place more accessible to the faithful.

Sempre visitabile con una piccola camminata di un quarto d'ora.
