Arrivarci non è stato semplicissimo, ma ne è valsa la pena. Io ci sono andato di sera, ma sono sicuro che la mattina o il pomeriggio siano gli orari migliori per godere a pieno della vista dall'alto (anche se il vuoto che si stagliava aldilà della terrazza aveva un non so che di poetico). L'ambiente è rustico e familiare, e le proposte culinarie sono tipiche ma presentano comunque una discreta originalità. Noi abbiamo preso un piatto di lombriconi al pesto di zucchine, zafferano e guanciale fritto e pappardelle al cinghiale come primi. Entrambi i piatti erano sorprendente buoni e le porzioni abbondanti. Come secondo abbiamo preso l'arrosto medievale con mele, prugne e cannella; l'accostamento è particolare ma molto buono. Abbiamo accompagnato questi piatti con un ottimo vino della casa. La qualità di questa osteria si vede non solo dalla bontà e genuinità dei piatti, ma anche dalla simpatia delle persone che ci lavorano con cui abbiamo scambiato due chiacchiere in un clima familiare. La Terrazza Sul Treja is a tavern located on top of the mountain that houses the medieval village of Calcata. Getting there was not easy, but it was worth it. I went there in the evening, but I'm sure that morning or afternoon are the best times to fully enjoy the view from above (even if the emptiness that stood out beyond the terrace was something of a poetic one). The environment is rustic and familiar, and the culinary proposals are typical but still have a discreet originality. We had a plate of earthworms with zucchini pesto, saffron and fried bacon and pappardelle with wild boar as first courses. Both dishes were surprisingly good and the portions generous. As a second we took the medieval roast with apples, plums and cinnamon; the combination is particular but very good. We accompanied these dishes with an excellent house wine. The quality of this tavern can be seen not only from the goodness and authenticity of the dishes, but also from the friendliness of the people who work there with whom we chatted in a family atmosphere.

Tenendo conto che eravamo in 3 e due di noi con intolleranze alimentari, abbiamo mangiato divinamente. La ragazza che ci ha servito, gentilissima in tutto. A me piace sapere da dove vengono i prodotti che mangio e la ragazza è stata carinissima a spiegarmi la provenienza. L’ambiente interno carinissimo. Prezzi buoni per la qualità dei prodotti e l’originalità del cibo. Siamo rimaste molto soddisfatte, tornerò sicuramente. Grazie per l’ospitalità e per il modo in cui ci avete fatto sentire: a casa. Taking into account that there were 3 of us and two of us with food intolerances, we ate divinely. The girl who served us, very kind in everything. I like to know where the products I eat come from and the girl was very nice to explain to me where they came from. The cute interior environment. Good prices for the quality of the products and the originality of the food. We were very satisfied, I will definitely be back.
