Cibo delizioso e sfizioso (consiglio le focaccine assortite), con la possibilità di ordinare anche piatti freschi, vista la calura tremenda del periodo (per esempio le panzanelle - ho assaggiato quella rivisitata con patate e fagiolini, ottima). Peccato per il servizio un po' in affanno, la cameriera è stata gentile e premurosa ma davvero il personale mi è sembrato sottodimensionato rispetto alla pur non enorme capienza tra posti a sedere esterni e interni (in questi ultimi, ove ho pranzato, tutto sommato non si pativa il caldo). Alla fine, mentre andavo via, mi è parso di capire che i ragazzi in cucina abbiano avuto qualche problema tecnico, del quale si stavano scusando con altri avventori. Personalmente ho atteso alcune portate abbastanza ma non esageratamente, e la bontà di quanto mangiato ha ripagato il parziale disservizio. Spero che l'attività riesca a "macinare" :-) I had lunch there yesterday. Delicious and tasty food (I recommend the assorted scones), with the possibility of ordering fresh dishes, given the tremendous heat of the period (for example the panzanelle - I tasted the revisited one with potatoes and green beans, excellent). Too bad for the service a bit 'in trouble, the waitress was kind and attentive but really the staff seemed to me underpowered compared to the not huge capacity between external and internal seats (in the latter, where I had lunch, all in all not you suffered from the heat). In the end, as I was leaving, I understood that the guys in the kitchen had some technical problem, which they were apologizing to other customers about. Personally I waited for some courses enough but not exaggeratedly, and the goodness of what I ate paid off the partial disservice. I hope the business is able to "grind" :-)

Il cibo - giuro! - era da 8 stelle... peccato però che il servizio fosse veramente lento (2 stelle... quindi media di 5:). É vero che tanti locali erano chiusi e tutti i turisti - nel giorno in cui ho visitato Calcata - si fossero riversati nei pochi ristoranti aperti, fra cui questo. Insomma, un ristorante 'slow food' che si è ritrovato ad avere la fila del 'fast food'... il cibo non ne ha risentito (grazie al cielo!) ma il servizio si (la velocità, non la cordialità e ospitalità del personale!)... A lunch made up of local delicacies (such as origin of the ingredients and recipes) that amazed me for the goodness, freshness and care in the preparation. Food - I swear! - it was 8 stars ... but it was a pity that the service was really slow (2 stars ... so average of 5 :). It is true that many places were closed and all the tourists - on the day I visited Calcata - had poured into the few open restaurants, including this one. In short, a 'slow food' restaurant that found itself in the 'fast food' queue ... the food was not affected (thank goodness!) But the service did (the speed, not the friendliness and hospitality of the personal!) ...

La qualità del cibo é bassissima, dai salumi da supermercato alle patate crude dello spezzatino, servizio spaventosamente lento: 20 minuto per ordinare, 1h e 30m totale per 1 antipasto e 2 secondi. Riguardo il menú é ridottissimo, e va pure bene, ma non é possibile sedersi alle 21.00 e sentirsi dire, al momento dell'ordinazione e non alla consegna del menù, che 3/4 delle portate sono terminate. Questa é veramente incapacità della gestione dello stock, dettata sicuro da una totale inesperienza. La ristorazione é qualcosa di molto complesso, che richiede una gavetta prima di andare in proprio.
