Excellent place! A huge apartment, all equipped with kitchen, refrigerator, food for breakfast ... The terrace is a separate chapter, simply spectacular, it is giant, full of plants, private and with a spectacular view of the city of Palermo. The owner, Mimmo, is a love of a super willing person and even offered us food prepared by himself. I recommend it vividly. We would go back a thousand times.

Due to the whole dirty and neglected Palermo, the accommodation was quite cool. It was relatively clean, everything was fine on the toilet and in the bathroom. Kitchen small, enough for basic heating. Fridge quite large. The air conditioning above the bed functional and quite quiet - although we did not use in October. The biggest advantage is a huge terrace with flowers. Even in October, you could only sit on it in a T-shirt until midnight :) It's a pity that they don't care about her anymore - see. What did you not like? . Location in the center, a few dozen meters shops with drinks and basic groceries, About 900 meters COOP, where you can buy everything, as in the Czech Republic. On the promenade around the coast 2200 m. Thanks to the fact that it is a roof apartment (above the 7th floor), you can sleep comfortably even with the window and door to the terrace open, cars are constantly honking and the traffic can only be heard a little. Elevator functional. Helpful owners - by arrangement they left our luggage in the house even a few hours before check-in. The owner (or the owner's father) shows everything where what is switched on and controlled, but speaks only Italian - fortunately, he shows everything so clearly that everyone understands. The first evening for a free welcome special homemade square "something like pizza" - very good, two will eat out :) In the kitchen (which they created from part of the terrace) there are old and incomplete dishes, each cup different, old aluminum pots, no beer mug :( The wooden cabinet for the dishes under the sink is falling apart ... There is no kettle or microwave !! Very old elevator, I as an elevator I was quite afraid to ride in it. Complicated communication - the young owner speaks partly English, his father who accommodated us speaks only Italian - but we understood everything :) GREAT DEFICIENCY: Our apartment is separated from the owners' apartment only by stairs and a wooden opening screen above the stairs - there is no way to lock yourself and around the screen there are gaps through which you hear every word of the owners below you, and they turn ours. The worst thing is that when the owners were smoking downstairs, we had a cigarette stench in the apartment like we used to in a pub !! :( BIG DISAPPEARANCE: breakfast - for 2 adults for 3 nights we received two packages of biscuits, a collection of tiny jams, buttercups, about 6 yogurts, a basket with a collection of different teas, ketchups and sauces in bags. Two 1.5-blanket juices, tiny milk, 2 liters of water in plastic. No pastries, no cheese, no sausages or ham ... we had to buy everything to have breakfast. So breakfast is basically not here, or it's a very poor "continental" breakfast. Anyone used to a buffet breakfast will be as disappointed as we are.

Great location, great host, great apartment with a huge private terrace, I highly recommend! If you want to spend the night in Palermo, only here!
