D	Daniel Vella on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't often post reviews, but I have to for this place. In six days of delicious food in Napoli and Campania, our dinner here was the highlight. It's not haute cuisine - just simple, homely, unpretentious dishes made with the finest ingredients, cooked to perfection. The restaurant subscribes to the Slow Food movement, and the staff were friendly, passionate and knowledgeable about their food and its provenance. We had an amazing cheese and cuts platter and fresellone with baccala' and tomatoes for antipasti, followed by a number of different pasta and main course, and everything was excellent. The standout, though, was the ragu', which must be one of the best dishes I've ever tasted: a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, with a deep umami richness. I could go back to Napoli just for another plate of it. Make sure to leave room for dessert - the highlight here was the migliaccio, a rich, warm, custardy Neapolitan cake of ricotta, semolina and citrus flavours. For 4 people sharing 2 antipasti, 3 primi, 2 secondi, 3 desserts, house wine and water (plus coffee and liqueurs on the house), we paid 106 euro, which we felt was amazing value for the amount of wonderful food we had. There are places where eating is one of the great joys of life; this is one of them.

Happy to help, full of passion for slow food. I would highly recommend spaghetti con vognole, and just ask about the dessert, ask about the oldest dessert in Naples. Trust me.

Lovely local Slow Food Presidio products make too much interesting dishes to chose from. Excellent bruschette con verdure sott'olio, capocollo dop, mozarella di buffola. Tonnarello pasta with a lemon-cheese cream and zitti with a friarielli crema. Light, elegant and satisfying. There is much attention to dolci so please keep room for the strawberries marinated with lemon and icing sugar. A rucola liqour to finish the meal. Nice housewines by the glass.

I am from Mediterranean and I eat seafood almost everyday and I know what is good, what is fresh… Unfortunately, this restaurant served something that didn’t look good, nether tasted good. What supposed to be fish mousse was rather a sour cream. Staff was really nice, but it seems like they are not aware that they need an improvement.
