★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Boat service was fine but we were taken to a restaurant they ‘recommended’ and “booked” for us - we got there, the waiter ushered us and told us pasta or fish, we ordered 5 dishes of pasta and 2 appetizers and were dropped a 500 euro bill. Enjoy the boat just don’t let them take you to get robbed!!

Antonia was amazing with the booking and allowing us to change the day due to poor weather.
Prompt and efficient service.
Only slight downside was the driver of the boat who was rude and very short tempered at times if questions were asked.
Spoke in Italian most of the trip and didn’t make an effort with the UK or American contingent.
Shame, as everything else was first class

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ??We rented a private boat which we booked the day before. On arrival they take your details, payment etc and take you to the small pier where a member of the staff brings your boat and shows you how it works.
?The boat was clean and enough space for 3-4 adults.
?We rented the boat for 4 hours (€140 + fuel[€40]) and although isn’t cheap, the experience was good. Being able to see the Amalfi coast from the sea gives you a different perspective of the area as is way more accessible than driving a car.
?If you decide to go for it, make sure you take your snorkels and make a stop in your journey for a refreshing dip in the Mediterranean Sea. Go an explore the emerald grotto. 4 hours is enough time to go as far as Salerno and back to Positano
