Best price for self driven boat that is able to go to capri - weather permitting. Cheaper than the ferry for a group of 5 or more!

Fantastic service. Our pilot was very kind and explained everything we were looking at. €200 plus €27 for fuel for three hours with a pilot, going where we pleased, was a great deal for us.

Great little boat rental. Make sure to go to Amalfi Marine booth there are a number of rentals in one place and it can be confusing as to whom you are talking to. We rented a CAP19 for the whole day, was 150€ + 62€ in gas (we used up half of the 100 l tank going half speed for 8 hours straight). No boat license required and the boat is good to go to Capri if you wish. The boat was clean and in great shape. The cruise along the coast was one of our highlights. Azure grottos, hidden secluded beaches and tiny islands with turquoise water to swim. Perfect!

Three of us rented a boat for the day 9-5:30pm for 180 + gas was 87 euros. We used up about half a tank going from amalfi around all of Capri and back last amalfi a bit before returning in the evening. Friendly service, and the person explained the gas was average for the port. The boat had a good size covering from the sun for the driver and around the back. The front had a nice cushioned area where 2 (maybe 3 but a bit tightly) people could lay in the sun. Nice boat, average price, and a great experience

Not the experience we were hoping for. We paid $350 euro plus gas (70 euro) for a private boating experience. We were told we can go wherever we want and see grattos. Our captain Alex did not make the experience pleasant unfortunately. We were rushed through the tour and the boat was going so fast that it wasn’t the effortless calm boating experience we had in mind. He did not take the time to learn our names or be welcoming. You are pigeon holed in to canned touring agendas. There’s no sense of customer service or creating an individualized touring experience. We stopped at an island for swimming. The minute the last person got on the boat we were rushed back to Amalfi even though we had hours left on the boat. We wanted some down time docked on the boat to relax. We did not get this. We tried to communicate our needs to Alex but his English is no good so he could not understand or meets our needs. This was the most expensive thing we did on vacation and none of us left smiling and in a very good mood. On a different boat tour our skipper told us lots about the island, offered to take our photo, and make an effort to smile and ensure we had a good time. Alex was nothing like this. We were told that we had the boat until 5pm. He tried to end hours early. This company also has a relationship with a really expensive restaurant that they try to push on you so they can get a kick back. Unfortunately the whole tour felt like a waste and that our experience and happiest was not the forefront of their intentions.

We rented a boat and drove it ourselves, it was an incredible experience. I would recommend this to anyone who can afford the cost. We drove for 6 hours and surprisingly didn’t use more than 1/3 a tank of gas which cost 65 EUR but obviously that changes with the market. You have to pay for the gas you use, but I think that makes sense and is reasonable. The operation that they run is very professional and they spoke great English so there was no language barrier. It’s super easy to find along the dock area, right in front. They were very courteous with great customer service. The little run down on driving the boat was short but enough to figure it out. So don’t expect a full lesson, it’s just kind of here’s how it works, then you show them you know how to do it with a little test drive and you’re off. If you’re looking for a private boat tour, but are turned off by the sticker shock, rent a boat from them and drive it yourself. Bring a picnic with you and enjoy the water. We didn’t hit any of the grotto’s as I wasn’t comfortable in a rental boat in tight spaces, but the trip doesn’t need grotto visits to be incredible. We did not go around Capri as we started 2 hours late and the sea was already a little windy by the time we got there. If you want to go around Capri Island, leave as early as the tour allows. The boat was very new and simple to operate. I felt safe the entire time and was never worried about the reliability of the boat. I’m not sure of the exact size, but it felt very sea worthy and fit 2 very comfortably and 4 would be good too. 6 would work but might be the max, not sure how many they allow. It had a large awning, basically shaded the driver completely. If you want sun you can sit in the front. It’s a big lounge area that you can sit or lay on.
