★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1 Star for the nice location and the view! Super unfriendly and ignorant staff! Arriving and they can't find your reservation you did only a few hours before is already giving you an awkward feeling as guest. Getting no wine card too. Furthermore one of the waiters underestimated his body volume and constantly squeezed through between my chair and another table - no sorry nothing. Although a sorry wouldn't have made up for the constant bumping into me either.
Nobody checking if we want drinks either. Mains didn't arrive at the same time and the waiter just threw them at the table mumbling something.
When paying 12€ for 3 tiny slices of fried tomato with cheese I would at least expect the lady at the cash desk to be friendly when paying 78€ for average food and unacceptable service instead of chatting to someone else - paying by card is not possible at the table
overall i felt like a second class person as I am not Italian and therefore got the worst service ever - I assume the food is also average for the Italian guests

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice view if you like looking at parked boats, but still cool to be on the oceans edge. The real problem here was the service as we basically got ignored from the minute we entered the restaurant (we had a reservation that they didn’t recognise). The (tiny portions) Food was fine but basically the same as what you can find in any other restaurant in Amalfi it’s just twice as expensive at Lido Azzuro. Do not recommend for any non-Italians.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend if you eat here to order one of the fish dishes. And since you're in the Almalfi, something with a lemon sauce. It's a great view of the port. Oh also, as we were paying out, the patron behind us told the owner it was the best restaurant they had been to in Almalfi and then began to rattle off all the others they had been to. I think they listed most of the restaurants on Almalfi if that tells you something.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Special lunch on the marina with a beautifully set table and friendly staff. The seafood is local, fresh and wonderfully prepared. The view is of a quiet part of the marina with a beautiful view of the water and boats - active but no diesel fumes. Would absolutely return for lunch or dinner again.
