β β β β β A lovely amatriciana in a great green, casual ambient full of trees. Red wine and Mozzarella di Buffala make a perfect dinner. You can gather with your family and friends to chat, have fun in this place as it is open air. Great for hot Roman Summer nights.

β β β β β It is the classical "Fraschetta" where you get pasta and wine while you bring from home other food. You can also buy in a nearby shop ham, superior mozzarella, exceptional porchetta, etc.
Very reasonable price.
4 star since the amatriciana I had was with to much pecorino cheese according to my taste, very good for all the other aspects (al dente, good guanciale, etc.).
The wine is a good, honest, wine.

β β β β β Fraschetta restaurant in Ariccia. It's located just outside Ariccia, where you can park the car. You can buy local food and consume under the trees of the restaurant. They also sell water, wine (so so) and a wonderful amatriciana. Highly recommended if you look for a picnic style meal.

β β β β β The best Amatriciana and the freshest Mozarella in all Rome. A perfect Roman experience. We just keep going back. A much needed break way from the city and into beautiful Ariccia. The tables are all outside amongst trees, it is always a joy to be here.

β β β β β Not much choice: 1 pasta dish (matrciana) and 1 meat dish (grilled steak) which are simply delicious, but there are lots of very tasty appetisers available including amazing fresh mozzarella, prosciutto and porchetta. The location is simply perfect for a dinner with friends on a hot summer night

β β β β β The place looks messy and noisy, which is the autentique italian and roman beaver, you may wait a bit but as soon you start trying and seeing the food you will not believeβ¦ they are amazing..!
Iβll not tell you what to choose from the menu, because all the items are incredibly delicious, but please donβt forget to try bucatini amatriciana. The typical dish from the areaβ¦ you will not regret!
I had the pleasure to meet the owner (S) and then I understood the reasons: this simple family has such a big passion in food selection and taste, that they mΓ©nage to find the perfect simple ingredients every day as a serious mission!

Great outdoor setting and amazing amatriciana. Would have loved to tried more things but arrived late in the day, will be back next time Iβm in Rome!

β β β β β What an incredible place. Open air fraschetta in a chestnut grove with friendly waiters and excellent food. You pick up some porchetta, bread and other cold cuts, cheese and olives. Order some wine to the table, and if you're still hungry, there's amazing primi piatti to be ordered as well.
This has become our easter tradition, but we should go more than once a year!
