★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Locanda è immersa nel verde delle crete senesi, circondata da casolari e ruderi storici. La zona è inoltre consigliata per gli amanti della fotografia.
All'ingresso della locanda siamo stati accolti dalla proprietaria che ci ha fatti accomodare e ci ha invitati a provare i prodotti della casa.
Esperienza consigliatissima. Il connubio delle pietanze tipiche della tradizione gastronomica toscana e sarda è stato davvero delizioso. Grande cortesia e buon cibo.
The Locanda is immersed in the greenery of the Crete Senesi, surrounded by farmhouses and historical ruins. The area is also recommended for photography lovers.
At the entrance of the inn we were greeted by the owner who made us sit and invited us to try the products of the house.
Experience highly recommended. The combination of the typical dishes of the Tuscan and Sardinian gastronomic tradition was truly delicious. Great courtesy and good food.

La locanda si trova a Vergelle, una frazione minuscola che si raggiunge dopo più di 2km di strada sterrata, ovviamente non comoda, ma che rende il posto ancora più particolare.
Abbiamo mangiato in uno spazio esterno, una sorta di terrazza con una vista magnifica. Se si arriva per il tramonto, poi....
Cibo assolutamente espresso e gustoso. Provato bruschette, antipasto toscano, pici cacio e pepe e al ragù, tagliata al Brunello. Tutto ben fatto.
Il locale serve anche alcun e pietanze sarde, in onore delle origini della proprietaria.
Una serata piacevolissima.
Found by chance, we were greeted with kindness and courtesy.
The inn is located in Vergelle, a tiny hamlet that can be reached after more than 2km of dirt road, obviously not comfortable, but which makes the place even more special.
We ate in an outdoor area, a kind of terrace with a magnificent view. If you come for sunset, then ....
Absolutely express and tasty food. Tried bruschetta, Tuscan appetizer, pici with cheese and pepper and ragù, sliced with Brunello. All well done.
The restaurant also serves some Sardinian dishes, in honor of the owner's origins.
A very pleasant evening.
