Ho soggiornato qui per un lungo weekend e non ricordo d'aver dormito meglio. Pulizia ottima, staff gentile, cortese, molto attento alle esigenze di chi soggiorna, ma soprattutto preparato. Ci tornerò sicuramente! Really a nice experience! Rustic ambience, elegant and very nice. The cuisine is excellent with local dishes never tried before. I stayed here for a long weekend and can't remember having slept better. Excellent cleaning, friendly staff, courteous, very attentive to the needs of those who stay, but above all prepared. I will definitely be back!

La pulizia è assolutamente impeccabile. Le camere sono ampie, confortevoli e molto silenziose, caratteristiche perfettamente incastonate nel contesto generale. Titolari squisiti, cordiali e affabili. Prima colazione di qualità e abbondante. La torta ricotta e pere, specialità della casa, è qualcosa di unico. Pranzo dello stesso tenore. Esperienza da ripetere. La Locanda Delle Streghe: a name, a guarantee. My wife and I are literally bewitched by the characteristic and carefully furnished environment. The cleanliness is absolutely impeccable. The rooms are large, comfortable and very quiet, features perfectly set in the general context. Holders exquisite, friendly and affable. Quality and abundant breakfast. The ricotta and pear cake, a house specialty, is something unique. Lunch of the same tenor. Experience to be repeated.

Personale preparato, educato e pronto alle vostre esigenze. Il nome tende un po in inganno, in realtà sono "streghe" buone, la zona è ottima per recuperare energie e mandare via lo stress, è dentro un edificio storico di Castel del Monte, che rientra nel Parco Nazionale del Gran Sasso e dei Monti della Laga, con connessione WiFi gratuita. Le pareti in pietra e soffitti con travi di legno a vista, danno un tocco folcloristico e romantico, ideale per le coppie, le camere hanno una TV con decoder e un bagno privato con asciugacapelli. Si trova 80 km dall'Aeroporto d'Abruzzo e 85 km da Chieti/Pescara e dalla costa adriatica. Rustic, but hospitable, cared for and of no small importance "clean". Consiglio vivamente la locanda perché ci si sente accolti e si mangia benissimo . Sono veramente contenta di aver soggiornato qui . Parcheggio nei pressi gratuito. Paese molto carino e tutto a portata di mano. Abbiamo deciso di cenare la prima sera, ed abbiamo fatto il bis la seconda.. Cucina del territorio IMPERDIBILE. Provare per credere. Tra le zuppe e le laganelle al tartufo passando per le carni.. Non saprei cosa consigliare ? We stayed 2 days and we really enjoyed it. Mountain view rooms, comfortable and maniacal cleanliness. Exquisite owners. Free parking nearby. Very nice country and everything close at hand. We decided to have dinner on the first evening, and we had an encore the second .. Local cuisine UNMISSABLE. Seeing is believing. Between the soups and the laganelle with truffles passing through the meats .. I don't know what to recommend ?

The meals were AWESOME - delicious local plates. It’s always fun to try something new to eat, and we are never disappointed. The location provided an excellent base to explore neighboring towns and again take advantage of the beautiful Gran Sasso National Park. Castel del Monte itself is a lovely village to explore on foot - you feel connected to the rich history at every turn. The icing on the cake is the family that runs the inn - they are so friendly and accommodating and go above and beyond to make your stay everything you want it to be. I cannot recommend this place higher if you are wanting to step into the Italian countryside to see all that this area has to offer.
