★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The location and comfort of the Inn I booked the locanda because of the wonderful restaurant reviews. Unfortunately because the ferry was 3 hours late we arrived at 2345 , too late to eat. We had excellent communication with the hotel regarding the late arrival and they were super accommodating. In the morning we watched the kitchen prep of that days offering. A lamb being prepared and a huge wood fire being readied. Made me even more cross with Grimaldi ferries.. Negative: There's nothing to dislike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel and restaurant is run by angels who actually drove to pick me up when I was in a difficult situation 3km down the road at 7pm feeling unsafe with nowhere else to go.
Walking on Via Francigena I was happy to walk the extra 3km back to the trail the next day. The room was perfect, cosy, modern with some traditional character. The restaurant also run by the same people were very helpful... I am vegan, they did not judge me (the restaurant is meat oriented) but created a delicious dinner for me.
