★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful laid back summer restaurant on Vico lake shore. Food is very good focusing local specialities, service very helpful and friendly. Perfect place to go and relax after sightseeing Rome in summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lago di Vico is a nice day trip from Rome and there are a few restaurants along the shore to stop and enjoy a meal. We went to Rivafiorita (reservations suggested) for a late lunch.
Pros: great location, good service, generous wine portions, beach longer chairs available on certain days for restaurant patrons
Cons: the food seemed like it had been prepped earlier in the day and was reheated. I definitely recommend going earlier in the day. We tried the fried fish, lamb with potatoes, salad and cheesecake. The salad was nice and fresh but dripping with oil!
Overall it was a really enjoyable experience but it could improve to 5 stars with a few improvements.
